White House spokesman Judd Deere blasted Dr. Anthony Fauci as a partisan hack who’s “playing politics” by praising Joe Biden’s empty words about the coronavirus while criticizing President Trump’s decisive actions to combat the outbreak.

Deere said in a statement:  “It’s unacceptable and breaking with all norms for Dr. Fauci—a senior member of the President’s Coronavirus Task Force and someone who has praised President Trump’s actions throughout this pandemic—to choose three days before an election to play politics.  As a member of the Task Force, Dr. Fauci has a duty to express concerns or push for a change in strategy. But he has not done that—instead choosing to criticize the President in the media and make his political leanings known by praising the President’s opponent—exactly what the American people have come to expect from The Swamp.”

Deere was reacting to an Oct. 31 interview Fauci did with the Washington Post, where the career government bureaucrat stoked public hysteria by warning of a deadly winter.

Fauci also praised Biden, saying he took the coronavirus seriously, while suggesting President Trump was lax. Keep in mind that Covid has a recovery rate of  97% to 99.75%.

Indeed, Trump himself recovered from the coronavirus in record time despite his advanced age. So did golf legend Jack Nicklaus, 80, who says he recovered in “two days” after taking hydroxychloroquine.

Reminder: Early projections had predicted 2 million U.S. coronavirus deaths if there was no mitigation. If mitigation efforts were followed, the death projections were estimated at 200,000. That’s where the United States is now, so how is that a failure?

Fauci played into the Democrats’ election strategy by hyping the Covid threat and stoking panic.

Fauci said:  “We’re in for a whole lot of hurt. It’s not a good situation. All the stars are aligned in the wrong place as you go into the fall and winter season, with people congregating at home indoors. You could not possibly be positioned more poorly.”

Fauci said Biden is “taking it seriously from a public health perspective” while Trump is “looking at it from a different perspective…the economy and reopening the country.”

Fauci also lashed out at Trump’s coronavirus adviser, neuroradiologist Scott Atlas, who apparently displaced Fauci.

“I have real problems with that guy,” Fauci said. “He’s a smart guy who’s talking about things that I believe he doesn’t have any real insight or knowledge or experience in. He keeps talking about things that when you dissect it out and parse it out, it doesn’t make any sense.”

White House rep Judd Deere responded:  “Dr. Fauci knows that the risks today are dramatically lower than they were only a few months ago with mortality rates falling over 80%. The Trump Administration continues to surge testing, PPE, personnel, and capacity to protect the vulnerable, help schools reopen, and respond to conditions on the ground.”

Deere underscored that President Trump “always put the well-being of the American people first,” citing his China travel ban in January—a move that other nations—followed even as Biden and the Democrats slammed Trump as xenophobic.

Deere said Fauci’s nanny-state infantilization of Americans is condescending: “Dr. Fauci may have just admitted that he is afraid the cure will be worse than the disease and that unlike the President, he has no confidence in the American people to make the best choice for themselves armed with CDC best practices.”

Scott Atlas reacted by suggesting that Fauci is insecure, can’t throw a baseball, and is “embarrassing himself” with his constant need for media attention.

Anthony Fauci, 79, has worked for the federal government since 1968. Fauci has been the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984.

Fauci went straight from medical school to the government, so he didn’t practice medicine or treat patients. But Americans are told that we must listen to everything he says without question.

Reminder: Fauci has sent multiple “love letters” to Hillary Clinton.  In a fawning June 2012 email, he gushed: “Please tell the Secretary [Hillary Clinton] that I love her more than ever.”

In a January 2013 email where he called himself “your doctor admirer,” Fauci again professed his love for Hillary. This is who the media has elevated.
