Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed that “damning” documents related to Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden have gone “missing.”
The “Tucker Carlson Tonight” host told viewers on his show Wednesday that a shipment of the “confidential” materials had suspiciously disappeared while en route to California, turning up at a shipping facility where an employee reported the package had been opened and the contents nowhere to be found.
“There is always a lot going on that we don’t have time to get to on the air, but there is something specific going on behind the screens that we did feel like we should tell you about,” Carlson told his audience Wednesday.
“On Monday of this week we received from a source a collection of confidential documents related to the Biden family,” he continued. “We believe they are authentic, they’re real and they’re damning.”

“At the time when we received them, my executive producer Justin Welles and I were in Los Angeles preparing to interview Tony Bobulinski about the Bidens’ business dealings in China, Ukraine and other countries,” Carlson said, referring to his revealing interview with Hunter Biden’s former business partner.
The former Navy lieutenant, who attended the final presidential debate as a guest of President Trump, told Carlson earlier this week that he had documents to back his statements about meetings and other information he shared on the Biden family’s business dealings overseas.

“So we texted a producer in New York and we asked him to send those documents to us in L.A.,” Carlson continued explaining the chain of events that led to the vanished documents.
“And he did that, so Monday afternoon of this week, he shipped those documents overnight to California with a large national carrier, a brand-name company that we’ve used, you’ve used, countless times with never a single problem,” he added.
“But the Biden documents never arrived in Los Angeles,” he explained. “Tuesday morning we received word from the shipping company that our package had been opened and the contents were missing. The documents had disappeared.”
The company immediately launched an investigation tracing the package’s journey, beginning from when it was dropped off in New York, interviewing employees and searching transportation vehicles to the final sorting facility where, at 3:44 a.m. Tuesday, the employee found the opened, empty package.
“The company’s security team interviewed every one of its employees who touched the envelope we sent,” Carlson revealed.
“They searched the plane, and the trucks that carried it, they went through the office in New York where our producer dropped that package off, they combed the entire cavernous sorting facility, they used pictures of what we had sent, so that searchers would know what to look for,” he continued.
“They went far and beyond, but they found nothing. Those documents have vanished,” Carlson said.
“As of tonight, the company has no idea and no working theory either about what happened to this trove of materials, documents that are directly relevant to the presidential campaign just six days from now,” he added.
“We spoke to executives at that company a few hours ago, they seemed baffled and deeply bothered by this and so are we,” Carlson concluded.
As many on social media questioned how the important documents could have been sent without a backup, Carlson apparently indicated in a text message to Salon reporter Roger Sollenberger that copies had, in fact, been made.

There were no details about what the documents allegedly revealed, as Carlson has been reporting on the details about the accusations against the Bidens after a bombshell report by the New York Post using emails and information obtained from a laptop that allegedly belonged to Hunter Biden.
The former vice president has denied any wrongdoing and claims the allegations against his son and family are part of a “Russian disinformation” campaign.
