Candace Owens rips Kamala defenders: You can’t demand equality, then cry ‘misogyny’ when you get it

Conservative commentator and author Candace Owens slammed Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris and today’s “fraudulent” feminism.

Owens called out the left’s hypocrisy as she weighed in the vice presidential debate earlier this week, telling Fox News host Laura Ingraham that Harris “failed to deliver” against Vice President Mike Pence and Democrats are blaming it on anything but her.

“She’s just not a very likeable candidate,” Owens said of the California senator, recalling similar issues voters had with Hillary Clinton in 2016 during her appearance on “The Ingraham Angle” Friday.

“You know what happened last night? It wasn’t misogyny, it wasn’t sexism, it was called losing a debate. Vice President Pence beat Kamala Harris in every single regard last night and it was beautiful to watch,” Owens added.

She went on to argue that Democrats picked the wrong running mate for presidential nominee Joe Biden and they can’t force Americans to like her.

Democrats “love to ride that minority-oppressed horse and tell people that they should be ashamed if they don’t support this individual,” Owens said.

“They can’t make America like her, and they refuse to accept the fact that they just picked a bad vice-presidential candidate for Joe Biden. And he is not very strong himself,” she added.

Ingraham noted how Biden had touted his running mate as a tough candidate and then he was “whining” about her treatment in comments following the debate. The former vice president lashed out at critics and defended Harris when speaking with reporters after campaigning in Arizona.

“This is one of the finest persons I’ve ever dealt with,” Biden said of his running mate after President Donald Trump had called her a “monster,” saying “everything she said is a lie” following the debate.

“This is a person who is ready on day one to be president of the United States of America,” Biden added, in what many saw as a telling slip.

In a quick move to provide damage control, the mainstream media picked up the narrative that the Democrat’s disappointing performance against Pence was due to sexism or race or whatever victim card worked for the occasion.

Owens eviscerated the efforts.

“This is what I dislike so much about modern feminism, and I call it out all the time,” she told Ingraham.

“It’s so fraudulent today. They’re sitting there saying they want equality, they want equal treatment, and then when they get equal treatment, what do they do? They run and they hide and they say, ‘no, that’s misogyny because I don’t want to be on the stage and answer tough questions,'” Owens continued.

She noted the example of Harris repeatedly avoiding the question Pence put to her about “packing” the Supreme Court. Both Biden and Harris have avoided answering the question directly and when pressed again on Thursday, Biden told reporters that he would give his answer after Americans vote in November.

“America is seeing these are not strong candidates,” Owens said.

“This is why people are going to prefer a President Donald Trump candidacy over Joe Biden and Kamala Harris  because they just seem to be stronger candidates who do not complain and whine in the same way that the left always does,” she continued, noting that they “castigate Americans when they don’t get what they want.”

“Now we are all racists, now we are all sexist, now we are all white supremacists because your candidate failed to deliver onstage next to VP Pence,” she concluded.

Ingraham agreed, noting how “you can’t use race to explain everything about all aspects of politics.”
