President Donald Trump continued to hammer Fox News anchor Chris Wallace following the wild presidential debate with Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

The president took a shot at Wallace during his Minnesota rally on Wednesday, telling the crowd of supporters that he was “so disappointed” in Fox News as well after a contentious debate from Cleveland, Ohio on Tuesday that was moderated by Fox host Chris Wallace.

Trump touted his debate performance at the start of the rally in Duluth, recounting some of the moments from the widely-criticized event which saw both nominees plunge into a war of words as Wallace often helplessly tried to regain control.

Many piled on Wallace for his frequent interruptions of the president and for sometimes seeming to debate Trump himself, who even noted it at one point in the contentious 90-minute live affair. He brought it up again at his rally Wednesday night.

“Did you see last night?” he asked the crowd.

“I said, ‘Sleepy Joe, name one law enforcement group that supports you.’ Then Chris Wallace says, ‘Don’t do that! That’s not…’” Trump said, recalling one of the moments when Wallace admonished him for pressing Biden.

“Can you believe this guy? I was debating two people last night,” the president said as his supporters cheered.

An exasperated Wallace had reminded Trump that he had agreed to abide by the debate rules as he asked him not to interrupt.

“Mr. President, I’m the moderator of this debate and I’d like you to let me ask my questions,” he said at one point.

“I guess I’m debating you, not him,” Trump shot back. “I’m not surprised.”

Trump was not alone in his assessment.

Trump commented on Biden’s poor performance during his rally, referencing reports that the Democrat was being advised to skip the second and third debates. Biden told reporters Wednesday that he was “looking forward” to the next debate.

“Joe Biden is too weak to lead this country. You know Biden lost badly when his supporters are saying he should cancel the rest of the debates. Now I understand he’s canceling the debates, let’s see what happens. I think that’s not going to be a good move,” Trump said as the Minnesota crowd booed.

“With those ratings, they’re never going to let him cancel…What are they going to do? Someday, we aren’t going to be doing this anymore, what are they going to do without Trump?” the president asked, joking about that happening in “eight, 12, maybe 16 years.”

“Sixteen more years,” he said as the crowd erupted in cheers and applause.

Earlier in the day, the president had commented on Wallace and the debate on Twitter.

“Chris had a tough night. Two on one was not surprising, but fun,” he tweeted.

The president took another shot at Wallace as well as the liberal media which had nothing but negative accounts of his debate performance.

“I’ve got news for Joe, if you ever became president, you have to deal with some of the toughest people in the world and Chris Wallace is very, very easy by comparison. I know them all,” Trump said.

“The liberal media is upset that I took the fight to Biden and exposed his very dangerous agenda,” he added before telling a protester to “go home to mom.”

“These are the same media outlets cheering violent demonstrations in the streets — CNN, The New York Times, they think rioting is just okay, just do whatever you want,” Trump went on, turning his attention to media coverage of the riots across U.S. cities over the last few months.

“You can do whatever you want, you don’t have to wear a mask, you just riot — 25,000 people standing in each other’s face. Do whatever you want — can you go to church? No. Can you go to restaurants? No. Can you do anything? No, but you can riot, that’s okay,” he said, taking a shot at local Democrat leaders who kept their cities and states under coronavirus lockdowns but allowed protests, many times escalating into riots.

“Arson is okay but challenging sleepy Joe is totally off-limits,” Trump added. “I’m so disappointed in Fox. I’m not just running against Joe Biden, I’m running against a corrupt far-left media, socialists and communists in the Democrat Party and the special interests who have made a living bleeding our country dry and that is what has happened for too long.”

He reminded his supporters that he has worked to turn the nation around while having to fend off constant attacks such as a “fake impeachment.”

“I’ve had to fight a lot of things that were not in the agenda,” he said. “Never forget they are coming after me because I am fighting for you — and that’s true. And this is a choice election. Our opponents put America last, I put America first and that’s what I’ve been doing for three and a half years.”
