Tucker rips maskless Feinstein spotted in DC airport after she specifically called for mask mandate in airports

U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein joined the growing list of hypocritical Democrats who can’t seem to follow their own rules.

Images of the California lawmaker captured her walking inside a Washington D.C. airport terminal without wearing a protective face covering. The 87-year-old, who would be considered a high-risk for coronavirus because of her age, was maskless in the area just months after she called for a mandatory mask mandate in airports.

The photos of Feinstein were first aired on Monday by Fox News host Tucker Carlson who told viewers the images were going to “rock your world.”

Carlson noted that the California Democrat had written a letter in June calling on the Federal Aviation Administration and Federal Transit Administration to institute a “mandatory mask policy for all airport and airline employees and passengers” at airports and planes as well as on public transportation.

“While some transit agencies and airlines have implemented mandatory mask guidance for the public, reports indicate that the patchwork of rules have only sowed confusion among passengers,” Feinstein wrote in the June 30 letter. “Therefore, I ask that you issue clear, nationwide, mandatory mask requirements for all aviation employees and travelers.”

But last Friday, Feinstein was captured in photos walking through a private terminal at the Dulles International Airport with no mask on her face. The “Tucker Carlson Tonight” host explained that the show had exclusively obtained the photos of the senator.

“In the photographs, Feinstein can be seen smiling without a mask on. One might even say she’s sowing confusion about whether or not masks are necessary,” Carlson said.

“A pilot with a mask is walking in front of her carrying a bag and a dog,” he said, adding that the Fox News show had reached out to Feinstein’s office but had not heard back.

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam issued an executive order at the end of May requiring face coverings for all passengers, employees and contractors at Dulles Airport.

‘All passengers and visitors will be required to wear face coverings or masks during their time in the airports, with the exception of children under the age of 10 and people with medical conditions that prevent wearing a face covering,’ the airport’s website states.

Carlson noted on his show Monday that Feinstein, like her fellow Democrats, will likely find a scapegoat.

“We can be sure of one thing, this isn’t really Dianne Feinstein’s fault,” he said.

“Just like when the hair salon framed Nancy Pelosi caught not wearing a mask while getting her hair done, Dulles Airport, the diabolical FBO, probably masterminded the whole thing,” Carlson continued, adding sarcastically: “We are going to stay on top of this story and bring you evidence of the airport’s guilt as we inevitably find it.”

Carlson was referring to the incident last month when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was captured on a surveillance camera at a San Francisco salon without a mask. Even though the California Democrat visited the salon while coronavirus restrictions were still in place, she blamed the incident on the business owner and accused her of a “setup.”

“It was clearly a setup,” Pelosi claimed. “I take responsibility for falling for a setup by a neighborhood salon that I’ve gone to for years. And that’s really what it is. I think that this salon owes me an apology for setting me up.”

The salon owner, Erica Kious, called Pelosi’s backlash against her and her business “beyond shameful.” She told Carlson earlier this month that she had received “a lot of negativity” because of the incident and would be closing the doors of her San Francisco salon.

Democrats have been calling for mandatory face coverings while apparently ignoring their own warnings about the dangers of not wearing them. Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden called for a three-month-long nationwide mask mandate back in August but soon backtracked, noting the constitutionality of such an order.

The double standard for Democrats could be seen in New York as well where Gov. Andrew Cuomo was caught on camera without a mask as he walked his dog.

Twitter users reacted to the latest Democrat hypocrisy with Feinstein’s mask-free jaunt through the D.C. airport.
