Conservative radio host Dan Bongino emotionally shared a health update and explained that he is awaiting results of a biopsy after a tumor was found on his neck.

The former secret service agent and Fox News contributor told “Fox & Friends” Monday that he is “hoping for the best” while he awaits the test results, expressing his gratitude for the support from those at the network, including host Sean Hannity who helped get him connected to “every doctor known to humankind.”

Bongino announced the news about his health during his show last week, telling listeners that he initially thought it was caused by an incident in martial arts training. He admitted that “it’s scary” but that there’s “a strong likelihood that it’s not, in fact, cancerous.”

On Monday, “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade asked Bongino for an update.

“You know, for a big guy, I’m kind of a softy teddy bear,” the former New York City police officer responded, thanking “everyone in the Fox family.”

“So, long story short is I get lipomas — fatty tumors once in a while,” Bongino said.

“They’re benign, I’ve never had any issue with them at all and I noticed there was a lump on the left side of my neck about two weeks ago. I thought it was from grappling — I had gotten choked out a couple of times,” he explained.

“I didn’t think anything of it so I just went to get an MRI thinking it was a lipoma and when I rolled out of the machine, there is nothing worse than having a radiologist look at ya and I said ‘It’s a lipoma, right?’ And he said ‘no, it is not a lipoma,’” Bongino continued, recounting how the radiologist discovered the 10 cm by 7 cm tumor.

He admitted that was “not easy to hear” and that he doesn’t yet know what the mass is.

“I don’t know what it is yet, but, specific thanks to Sean Hannity. I know the audience doesn’t get to see the personal side of him,” he said, referring to the “Hannity” host.

“I missed Tuesday’s show that night. I never cancel on Sean, ever. I’m always on Tuesday and when he found out, he called,” Bongino recalled.

“He spent two hours on the phone and connected me to I think every doctor known to humankind that could help me out,” he added, before getting a bit emotional. “Thanks to him, I got a biopsy and I’m hoping to get the results today and, obviously, hoping for the best.”

“We are all praying for you. A lot of people who did not know that story now do,” co-host Steve Doocy interjected.

“Dan, we’re praying for you,” Ainsley Earhardt added, as Bongino said, “I know you are.”

“Everything’s going to be okay, and you have access to great health care…just everyone say a prayer for him,” she said, getting emotional.

“Thanks guys,” Bongino responded.

Twitter users echoed the sentiments, encouraging Bongino and letting him know he has their prayers.
