Residents of the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn sent a non-ambiguous, block-length message to the New York’s governor and NYC mayor over the weekend in the form of a massive, homemade  mural that read “F– Cuomo and de Blasio.”

The earthy and irreverent street art emerged at the conclusion of a block party that reportedly doubled as a small business owner protest presumably over both Democrats’ draconian COVID lockdown policies that, among other things, have collapsed New York’s economy.

One unnamed attendee told the New York Post that “A few partygoers got the idea to paint in huge [letters, using] yellow paint with rollers on North 15th, ‘F–k Cuomo and de Blasio.’ The party continued. Everyone took photos. It was a big hit. The crowds cheered, even the cops chuckled.”

Less than 24 hours later, however, city workers were dispatched to the area, however, to scrub the mural and cover it with black paint.

DOT workers “told the partygoers it came from up top and they were told the sign said ‘F–k the police,'” the attendee added.

The increasingly unpopular Mayor de Blasio is famous for approving Black Lives Matter murals on public property in the city, including one outside of Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, where he pitched in himself. The mayor has, however, disallowed Blue Lives Matter and other pro-police displays. Trump Tower was the president’s legal domicile prior to relocating to Florida.

The de Blasio administration has yet to issue a public statement about the profane and pithy mural.

“The NYPD confirmed that a criminal mischief complaint had been filed over the incident and that an investigation is ongoing, but did not comment on the claim that cops laughed at the vandalism while doing nothing to stop it,” the Post added.

Bill de Blasio and the NYPD have repeatedly clashed over the mayor’s soft-on-crime policies, as violence skyrockets throughout the city, quality of life deteriorates rapidly, and businesses shut down permanently. As such, it wouldn’t be beyond the realm of possibility that cops on the scene enjoyed the mural. The far-left mayor and the equally radical city council plan on cutting $1 billion from the police budget.

The mayor, a big fan of “mostly peaceful” protests, has even gone so far as to cancel the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade over coronavirus concerns that would bolster people’s spirits and encourage tourism into the city.

In addition to arrogantly imposing strict restrictions on individuals and businesses during the pandemic, Gov. Cuomo stands accused of sending thousands of COVID-positive patients into nursing homes with devastating consequences.
