In a wide-ranging interview with radio show host John Kass, Attorney General Bill Barr claimed that there are people actively working against the Trump administration within the U.S. government.

While he didn’t use the words “deep state,” he did speak of “people in the government who surreptitiously work to thwart the administration.”

Barr then tied the “so-called resistance” to the ongoing, Democrat-excused mob violence being seen across the country.

“I think that Trump was unusual. He struck a responsive chord. He won the election as a duly elected president. He gave a victory speech that was conciliatory. … And what happened that very day? They started talking about impeachment, he was not a legitimate president, the Russia stuff, all this stuff from day one,” Barr began.

“And there was the so-called ‘resistance,’ which is not a proper term to use in our democracy. It became actual resistance. There undoubtedly are many people in the government who surreptitiously work to thwart the administration.”

That would be the so-called “deep state.”

“The turn now to the mob violence and the countenancing of mob violence is another very disconcerting development because increasingly the message of the Democrats appears to be Biden or no peace. In other words, the only way this is going to stop is if you vote for Biden. That is rule by the mob, and we’re approaching that,” he added.

Indeed. Multiple mainstream media outlets have ran pieces surreptitiously relaying that very point.

“The election will likely spark violence — a constitutional crisis. In every scenario, except a Biden landslide, our simulation ended catastrophically,” a report from The Washington Post published at the start of the month read.

The message was clear:

Weeks later, The Atlantic pulled the same stunt, with a contributor writing that a loss by Biden “is the worst case not because Trump will destroy America (he can’t), but because it is the outcome most likely to undermine faith in democracy, resulting in more of the social unrest and street battles that cities including Portland, Oregon, and Seattle have seen in recent months.”

The contributor added, “For this reason, strictly law-and-order Republicans who have responded in dismay to scenes of rioting and looting have an interest in Biden winning—even if they could never bring themselves to vote for him.”

Again the message was clear:

Despite this threatening message, members of the institutional left have tried to portray President Donald Trump and his fellow Republicans as the ones threatening America’s election integrity. Many have even suggested that Trump won’t leave office if he loses.

Responding to this bizarre notion, Barr reportedly said during his interview with Kass, “You know liberals project.”

Indeed they do.

“You know the president is going to stay in office and seize power and all that s—?” he then asked rhetorically. “I’ve never heard of that crap. I mean, I’m the attorney general. I would think I would have heard about it.”

What he has no doubt heard is failed 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton urge current nominee Joe Biden to not concede “under any circumstances.”

What he’s probably also heard is that Biden has hired hundreds of lawyers in preparation for the November race.

“Democrat Joe Biden is assembling a team of top lawyers in anticipation of court challenges to the election process that could ultimately determine who wins the race for the White House,” The Baltimore Sun reported Monday.

“The effort, which the Biden campaign described as the largest election protection program in presidential campaign history, reflects the extent of the preparation underway for an already divisive presidential contest in November that could produce significant, perhaps even decisive, court cases over voter access and the legitimacy of mail ballots.”

His “legal war room” will allegedly “work to ensure that elections are properly administered and votes correctly counted. It will also seek to combat voter suppression at the polls, identify foreign interference and misinformation, and educate voters on the different methods available for casting ballots.”

But isn’t that the job of the government?

During his interview with Kass, Barr also addressed the fervent desire by Democrats to use universal mail-in voting — which is plagued with numerous problems — for this year’s presidential election.

“They are creating an incendiary situation where there will be loss of confidence in the vote. Someone will say the president just won Nevada. ‘Oh, wait a minute! We just discovered 100,000 ballots! Every vote will be counted!’ Yeah, but we don’t know where these freaking votes came from,” he said.
