Fox News host Tucker Carlson slammed Democrats for condoning Black Lives Matter activists like those who seemed to celebrate the shooting of two California deputies over the weekend.

The host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” condemned the dangerous anti-police rhetoric and how it has permeated the Democrat narrative during his monologue Monday. Carlson revealed that one BLM supporter, who said the shootings were something to “celebrate,” met earlier this year with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s office to discuss implementing “cultural competency” workshops.

“This is the country they are creating. An attempted assassination of two young deputies. No dispute. No arrest. A man walked up out of nowhere and tried to kill them,” Carlson said Monday after an updated report on the ambush of the deputies on Saturday when the suspect walked up to their car and fired at the 31-year-old mother and her 24-year-old male partner.

“It’s what we refer to as a senseless crime but there was a reason he tried to kill them: He tried to kill them because they were cops,” Carlson continued.

“Can we be surprised? Since the beginning of summer the Democratic Party has told us the police are evil and killers and agents of racist genocide,” he said, adding that Democrats have pushed the narrative over months of protests and even promoted at the Democratic National Convention last month.

He then called attention to Kevin Wharton Price of the Africa Town Coalition who “wished the deputies death as they struggled to stay alive.”

“Price is a well-known left-wing activist in Los Angeles,” Carlson noted, adding that The Los Angeles Times has “mentioned Price approvingly, repeatedly.”

After the shooting, Price uploaded a video to Facebook essentially applauding the crime.

“An unknown assailant walked up and shot them in the head. What are we supposed to do? We are supposed to celebrate because an oppressor has been slain. This is the start of retribution. This is a very good start,” Price said in the video clip shared by Carlson.

“Is Price on a federal watch list? You would be if you advocated terrorism,” the Fox News host said.

“It’s not likely he is because Price has powerful friends. Democrats in Los Angeles consider him a community leader,” he continued, noting that reports indicate that the activist met with the Democrat mayor’s office.

“The guy who celebrates cop killing was his go-to person,” Carlson said of the mayor and the discussions to force area businesses to participate in “cultural competency” workshops.

Price identified himself in a video in which he leads a group of protesters to the hospital where the two officers who were shot were being treated.

The group argued with security officers who would not let them enter the hospital then shouted “I hope they die, motherf–kers!” when turned away.

Carlson’s condemnation on Monday of Democrat support for the anti-police activists included the report on Lynwood City Manager Jose Ometeotl who may be facing termination or other disciplinary action after he also seemed to celebrate the shooting.

Ometeotl posted a controversial Malcolm X quote on his Instagram account suggesting the deputies “deserved what they got,” according to Carlson.

The Fox News host’s comments on Price sparked plenty of Twitter reactions blasting the activist and the Los Angeles mayor.
