U.S. Senator Ted Cruz triggered liberals with a scorching comment reacting to comedian Trevor Noah’s take on gender reveal parties.

The Texas Republican responded on Twitter to an article about  “The Daily Show” host declaring that celebrations revealing the gender of a baby are “outdated.” The article, published by The Daily Wire, highlighted Noah’s recent comments on his show about the gender issue and how it cannot be separated from the biological sex of the baby.

Cruz commented Friday on the headline of the piece that was tweeted saying that Noah was “offended” by the gender reveal parties as the unborn child is not “old enough to know their actual gender.”

“A fair point,” Cruz tweeted. “Many liberal males never grow balls….”

Noah’s comments had come during his Comedy Central show on Tuesday as he noted reports revealing that one of the wildfires burning in California was potentially started by a gender reveal party.

He shared his progressive views on the issue as he criticized the idea of the parties because “aside from all the damage it can cause, celebrating a baby’s genitalia is starting to feel very outdated.”

“At this point, ‘gender reveal party’ is now one of the most dangerous terrorist organizations,” Noah said. “It’s ISIS, al-Qaeda, Taylor Swift fans and gender reveal parties.”

“Like, given everything we’re learning about gender, gender reveal parties should only happen when the child is old enough to know their actual gender and to pitch in some cash for the fire damage,” he said, making the argument that disconnects gender from biological sex.

After Cruz took his shot in response to the article, the hashtag #TedCruzHasNoBalls began trending on Twitter as liberals had a meltdown over his tweet and assailed him with ugly, personal attacks.

Many had a major issue with Cruz’s comments because of his support for President Donald Trump even after he had called him a “do-nothing liar” and insulted his wife as “ugly” during the 2016 Republican presidential primary.

Cruz has previously spoken out his mind about gender identity issues, and was a vocal opponent of the push to pass laws allowed gender-neutral bathrooms. The Texas lawmaker, who was named by Trump this week as a possible nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, called out parents for “child abuse” for allowing young children to undergo a gender transition.

And earlier this year, Cruz poked fun at Democrats in a tweet about gender identity and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Though Cruz ignited a firestorm of liberal hate, plenty of other Twitter users fully appreciated his reaction to the Trevor Noah story and gave the 49-year-old former GOP presidential candidate a virtual round of applause.
