Trump says Harris would be an ‘insult’ as first female president. Cue the ‘racism and misogyny’ cries.

President Donald Trump tore into Sen. Kamala Harris at his campaign rally as someone “nobody likes” who would be an “insult” as the nation’s first female president.

The president sent liberals into a meltdown as he went on the offensive during his North Carolina rally on Thursday, telling supporters that the  Democratic vice presidential nominee is “further left” than Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and recalling her “freefall” during the Democratic presidential primaries.

Trump took several shots at Harris, the first woman of color nominated for vice president of a major party, during his remarks at the outdoor rally held at Smith Reynolds Airport in Winston-Salem and set off a predictable avalanche of attacks by Democrats and his critics.

After condemning the left’s recent frenzy to take down or vandalize monuments and statues across the nation, the president took aim at the 2020 Democratic ticket in his rally speech.

“If our foreign adversaries were devising a scheme to cripple America, they could hardly do better than the Biden, Kamala Harris — ,” Trump said as he took a moment to focus on the California senator.

“You know what, people don’t like her. Nobody likes her. She could never be your first woman president,” Trump said as the crowd reacted with boos. “She could never be. That would be an insult to our country.”

In other remarks, the president tore into his opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, calling him out for forming an “unholy alliance with the most extreme and dangerous elements of the radical left.”

“You know who’s further left than crazy Bernie? Ka-ma-la,” Trump said, emphasizing the pronunciation of her name. “You remember she left the race — sort of interesting that they picked her because in theory they should be able to win California.”

Trump warned that a Biden/Harris victory would cause economic “collapse” in the U.S. and that rioters, violent protesters and looters in recent months are supporters of the Democrat nominees.

“On November 3rd, Americans will decide whether we will quickly return to record prosperity or whether we allow the same left wing extremists that have no idea what they’re doing to burn down buildings, or take control of government, set fire to a whole country,” Trump said.

The president’s criticism of Harris is not new, recently taking aim at her comments saying she would not take a coronavirus vaccine once it becomes available because she “doesn’t trust” the president.

“I will say that I would not trust Donald Trump,” Harris told CNN over the weekend, claiming that public health officials will be “muzzled” and “suppressed” by Trump.

“Okay. Let’s disparage the vaccine,” Trump told reporters at a news conference on Monday. “That’s so bad for this country. So bad for the world to even say that.”

During a campaign rally in New Hampshire last month following the nomination conventions of both parties, the president had mocked Harris’ poor performance in her own presidential campaign and cast doubts about her ability to attain a higher office.

“And this would be your president, possibly? I don’t think so. I don’t think so,” Trump told the crowd. “You know, I want to see the first woman president also, but I don’t want to see a woman president get into that position the way she’d do it, and she’s not competent.”

Trump’s usual liberal critics on social media predictably slammed his rally remarks about Harris as “sexist” and even “racist,” with many claiming he is just afraid of strong women.

But many other Twitter users knew the Democrat senator’s track record bore out the president’s criticism.
