MSNBC host Joy Reid fully defended Black Lives Matter and called out anyone “inventing” the idea that they riot while accusing President Trump of stoking violence perpetrated by “white nationalists.”
Reid’s outrageous claims were not made in a published opinion piece but on social media over the weekend and repeated on the air during her prime time show “The ReidOut” on MSNBC. Reid found a way to link the President of the United States to Adolf Hitler and slavery in her monologue blaming Trump for fueling racial divisions.

“Who benefits if lots of White voters believe that Black Lives Matter is threatening and violent? No one more than Donald Trump,” Reid said Monday.
“Trump is losing to Joe Biden full-stop. So to sneak back in through the Electoral College, he needs to win back those American Brexit states that put him over the top in 2016. So his fixation on Kenosha, in Wisconsin, is relevant,” she claimed in the safety of her studio seclusion, with no one to challenge her assertions.
“There is no anarchist group on the left that listens to Joe Biden. There is no Antifa for Biden-Harris armed militia, so this is not a ‘both sides’ thing, but Trump is openly doing the opposite, encouraging more violence,” she added.
On Saturday, Reid tweeted her defense of Black Lives Matter along with a local Seattle report on “riot data.”
Let me repeat this for those inventing the idea of “Black Lives Matter riots.” BLM doesn’t “riot.” They march against police violence. And note that those caught setting fires, assaulting and shooting people are consistently of the RIGHT, not the left. https://t.co/3qSk5Ym7l7

She followed with a long thread claiming there is “a cheap narrative being created for politics, even though the truth is out there.”
“So let’s stop giving in to the narrative Trump and his allies are inventing to try and help him cling to power. Autocrats always eventually get to this place: accusing the opposition of being anarchic and violent to cover up their own rot and violence,” she tweeted. “You are MUCH more at risk from unmasked Trump cultists coming home to your suburb from a superspreader rally and coughing or sneezing on you in Walmart or touching the door handle after wiping their nose than you are from a Black Lives Matter rally.”

On Sunday, she continued her ranting by slamming the president’s planned trip to Kenosha, Wisconsin.
“Violence and mayhem, perpetrated by people who support HIM, unleashed at night and let’s just be clear: by white nationalist mobs, often against other young white people…in cities with few Black people, IS HIS RE-ELECTION STRATEGY. Period.”
The “riots” are not Black Lives Matter marches gone wrong. Armed white nationalists are mobbing these cities to take advantage of protests and scare fellow white people into quietly siding with them. It’s an old, tried and true strategy: using fear & anti-blackness for politics.

She even called for everyone to “listen” to The Washington Post’s blogger Jennifer Rubin who also blamed Trump and Republicans for the violence happening in Democrat-run cities.

“This is Trump violence, in Trump’s America,” Reid added.
Besides the predictable show of support from her easily duped viewers, Reid was torched by Twitter users for her claims.
If Joy Reid wanted time help end the violence in American cities, she could simply go on her twitter feed and tell her violent BLM Marxist supporters to go home. Joy is openly doing the opposite. https://t.co/5cKsvQwG9D

Cities have been burning for months thanks to BLM and ANTIFA, yet @JoyAnnReid blames Trump supporters (one of which just got murdered)? FAKE NEWS. https://t.co/WeeQXRokNG

With all due respect, @JRubinBlogger is to conservatism what @JoyAnnReid is to honesty and @tedwheeler is to competence.

No, joy, the right isn’t setting fire to police stations, car dealerships and other small businesses. It’s the left.

They’re anarchists. It started with Occupy Wall Street movement. Same movement, but now under cover of the BLM/racial injustice. The media and libs thought people would blame Trump for the chaos, so they denied their existence and did not denounce the violence. Now they own it.

That is absolute desperation (not to mention delusion) talking. The Trump Derangement Syndrome is at peak hysteria as the election draws closer and they are just pumping out the bullshit by the gallons.
