A Georgia teacher has resigned after he allegedly made a disturbing comment about a photo of a supposed Black Lives Matter supporter kneeling on a white baby’s neck.

DeKalb County Schools District officials confirmed Friday that Brian Papin, a special education teacher at Cedar Grove High School in Atlanta, resigned after outrage over a comment he made on Facebook about a viral photo.

“DeKalb County School District administrators were made aware of the disturbing social media posts on July 22, 2020. The teacher has resigned and is no longer employed with DCSD,” the official Twitter account of the DeKalb County Schools wrote. “Again, there is no place for racism and abuse in our school district.”

In a previous tweet, officials had said they were “currently investigating the situation.”

Papin appeared to encourage violence toward a child seen in the photo of a man named Isaiah Jackson kneeling on the neck of his girlfriend’s two-year-old son. The crying child, dressed only in a diaper, could be seen being held with his arms behind him in the photo captioned with “Blm now mf.”

Jackson, whose arrest record includes domestic violence, burglary, and assault charges, was booked in Ohio’s Clark County Jail this week after the shocking photo emerged.

Papin reacted on Facebook with a disturbing comment that quickly gained attention.

“Again! You’re doing it wrong! One knee on center of the back, one on the neck, and lean into it until death! You saw the video! Get it right or stop f—ing around!” Papin allegedly wrote, sparking outrage.

Nationalist Review reported that after reaching out to the educator for a comment about his post, he “promptly changed his Facebook name, locked his account, and went into digital hiding.”

Apparently, Papin shut down his Twitter account as well.

But screenshots of posts Papin had allegedly made previously were shared on the social media platform.

“Trump supporters only have one religion: White supremacy!” one of the comments read.

Twitter users continued to react in horror and anger over the accusations and many wondered why the news was not all over the mainstream media.
