A leading urologic oncology expert offered to give President Donald Trump a “second opinion” on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. David Samadi, the men’s health director at St. Francis Hospital and a urologic oncologist specializing in robotics, reached out to the president in a tweet on Friday telling him that Dr. Anthony Fauci “isn’t the voice you need to hear!”

“If there is anything I can do to help this country get through the COVID-19 pandemic, I am here and ready,” the 57-year-old former Lenox Hill Hospital Chairman of Urology and Chief of Robotic Surgery tweeted.

“I love America & refuse to let this continue,” he added, referring to the current state of lockdowns and restrictions amid the ongoing pandemic.

Tagging the president’s official Twitter account, Samadi said “my offer is open.”

Samadi said in a recent video that he is not so much worried about COVID-19 as he is the “politics” of the virus. He contended that America is “more than capable of taking care of this virus.”

He also implored Trump to intervene as several governors have reinstated lockdown orders just days after easing them.

Samadi has been vocally calling out Fauci, the immunologist and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who has been one of the leading experts on Trump’s coronavirus task force. Fauci has increasingly come under fire in recent days as conflicting reports and recommendations have left Americans divided and unsure about safety measures in dealing with the coronavirus.

“The nation should not put their faith in one doctor alone,” Samadi contended in another tweet, referring to himself as “the antidote” to Fauci.

“Many countries around the world — actually nearly every country other than ours — have moved past the lockdowns and are not drowning in cases,” he wrote in another tweet. “We do not need to lock down again.”

The Iranian-born physician has also been calling attention to the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine in treating patients who test positive for COVID-19.

A new hydroxychloroquine study showed a “significant” reduction in the death rate from the disease, with doctors stating that “data here is clear” in touting the benefits of using the drug in early treatment.

“Hydroxychloroquine worked this whole time,” Samadi tweeted, slamming critics who dismissed its effectiveness simply because Trump had suggested it could work. “The media said it would literally kill you if you took it simply because POTUS promoted it as a cure.”

“I cannot believe that they lied to us about Hydrochloroquine just to prove the President wrong,” he added. “How many lives were lost because of it?”

Meanwhile, Fauci has been blaming some states for helping continue the spread of the coronavirus because they did not apply stricter lockdown orders. GOP Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky confronted Fauci during testimony on the coronavirus before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee this week, saying, “it’s a fatal conceit to believe any one person or small group of people has the knowledge necessary to direct an economy or dictate public health behavior.”

Samadi agreed with Paul’s points, saying the lawmaker’s “voice should be amplified,” as he went on to demand an end to the lockdowns.

“I am neither a pessimist nor an optimist. I operate in terms of facts & science,” Samadi tweeted. “As a doctor, my message is simple: END THE LOCKDOWNS!”
