Joe Biden made a rare appearance outside his basement on Thursday, appearing at a campaign event in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Emerging from his coronavirus-inspired bunker, the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee was greeted by a welcoming committee.

…of fervid Trump supporters.

There was even a Trump-Pence 18-wheeler.

Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel also shared a video of Biden’s welcoming committee.

“Joe Biden finally left the basement, and here is the ‘welcome’ he received,” McDaniel tweeted.

The former vice president was in town to discuss the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

This coming as the Trump administration on Thursday urged the Supreme Court to overturn the Affordable Care Act — as is often the case, Biden was reacting to actions taken by the president.

Well schooled in the art of political theater, Biden’s campaign set up a meeting with three Pennsylvania families, according to York Daily Record:

  • Stacie Ritter, a Lancaster resident whose 22-year-old twins were diagnosed with cancer at the age of 4.
  • Victoria Salerno, a Chester resident whose 4-year-old son has mitochondrial disease.
  • Amy Raslevich, a Pittsburgh resident who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017. She is the mother of two children, Laura and Sam, who each have celiac disease.

Biden’s defense of Obamacare aligns him with the still-popular former president, but the Trump campaign offered a reminder of the downside of the health care law and of Biden’s support for a public option.

“Pennsylvanians haven’t forgotten that healthcare premiums skyrocketed 120 percent due to Obamacare, and now Joe Biden supports a public option that many argue would pave the way for a government takeover of health care that would kick millions off their private insurance programs,” said Trump campaign spokeswoman Melissa Reed, according to the paper. “Meanwhile, President Trump has lowered prescription drug costs and is expanding affordable options for all. The contrast couldn’t be clearer.”

In addition to Trump supporters, Black Lives Matter protesters were also outside the Lancaster Recreation Center, and they “demanded” that Biden come out and speak to them as they chanted, “No justice, no peace,” the Daily Record reported.

And while he didn’t comply, Americans can expect that if Biden is elected, the radical left will be making many more demands.

Despite polls showing a bumbling Joe Biden in the lead — he said Thursday 120 million people had died of the coronavirus —  the enthusiasm for Trump’s reelection remains strong.

(Keep in mind that virtually every poll in America insisted that Hillary Clinton would easily defeat Trump.)

With the left engaged in a cultural cleansing, to include setting their sights on the “Star Spangled Banner,” White House Director of Social Media Dan Scavino shared a clip of the welcoming Trump received yesterday in Wisconsin.

Set to a backdrop of Lee Greenwood’s “Proud to be an American,” the American flags on display by the president’s supporters are impossible to miss.
