A Tennessee police deputy thanked two women for paying for his breakfast and for leaving a caring note reassuring him that his life matters.

Jody McDowell is the patrol deputy of the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee, where he has worked since 2015. Before that, he worked in Portland, Tennessee for 11 years.

McDowell said he was eating breakfast at a local Cracker Barrel restaurant when the waitress came over and handed him a note. “I was told to give this to you,” the waitress told McDowell.

The handwritten note read: “BLM [Black Lives Matter] But so does yours. Thank you for your service. Breakfast paid.”

Shortly afterward, two black women approached McDowell’s table before making their way out of the restaurant. The ladies thanked Deputy McDowell for his service before they headed back to their hometown of Baltimore.

McDowell doesn’t know the women’s names but thanked them for their kind gesture.

He posted the heartwarming note on Facebook, saying: “I want to thank the two sweet black ladies who paid for my breakfast this morning. I received this note from them.”

Amid the press-stoked race war and the anti-white, anti-police narrative being hyperventilated around-the-clock, this touching incident is a rare reprieve.

Across the United States — and around the world — there has been a spike in violence against police and in beatdowns of random white people.

Predictably, the left-wing media barely cover these incidents. Why? Because the victims are white.

Congressman Kevin McCarthy says Americans cannot allow themselves to get brainwashed by false media narratives.

McCarthy praised President Trump for enacting criminal justice reform and for signing the executive order on police reform to ease racial tensions between the police and the black community.

McCarthy said President Trump has accomplished a lot during his first term — despite nonstop opposition from the media, Big Tech, Hollywood, the Democratic Party and saboteurs in the Republican Party (like Mitt Romney).

“Think about what he was able to achieve with one hand tied behind his back with all those lies and the Deep State working against him,” McCarthy said. “Think what he could achieve if he gets a second term. Think about what America could achieve if they had a Congress that would work for this country instead of against this country.”

Kevin McCarthy continued: “Our ability to make a more perfect union hinges [on the November election] in 140 more days. [Republicans] are serious about renewing and restoring America. You cannot have this with Nancy Pelosi as Speaker. You cannot have this with more of what Hillary Clinton had been doing.”

McCarthy continued: “Or Joe Biden hiding in a basement — Basement Biden could not do what President Trump did today: Bring the nation together, talk about greater transparency, believe that the Floyd family deserves justice, these protests deserve the right to be heard, but also believing that looting deserves consequences — that’s not America and we cannot stand for it.”
