A Confederate statue fell on the head of a Black Lives Matter protester and critically injured him after fellow rioters violently tore it down.
The brouhaha erupted on Wednesday night, when thugs smashed, vandalized, and burned a Confederate monument outside a courthouse in Portsmouth, Virginia.
After beheading and cutting the fingers off the statue, Black Lives Matter protesters pulled it down. That’s when it landed it on a fellow rioter’s head, cracking his skull open.
A local Black Lives Matter leader recounted the incident: “When the statue finally did give way, it fully hit him in the head. We could see that his skull was actually showing. He lost a great amount of blood.”

The thugs then pretended to pray for the man they critically injured with their destructive antics.

Police later arrived and closed the scene off. In nearby Richmond, Virginia, other Black Lives Matter thugs tore down a Christopher Columbus statue and dumped it into a nearby lake.
Leftists — who breathlessly insist they’re environmentalists — said nothing about this reckless pollution of local waters.

By the end of Wednesday night, vandals had beheaded four Confederate statues in Virginia and spray-painted “Black Lives Matter” all over them.
Black activist Mark Whitaker is a convicted felon and a former councilman in Portsmouth, Virginia. He said Confederate monuments should be dismantled because they’re symbols of “white supremacy.”
“It’s a symbol that represents an ideology of white supremacy,” Whitaker told the Virginian-Pilot. “It really speaks to the consciousness of a city and of a people that would allow such an image of hate to continue to stand all these years.”
That’s nice. So why didn’t Black Lives Matter protesters petition Barack Obama — the nation’s first black president — to take down these statues during his eight years in office?

The race-baiting, grievance-mongering left first began destroying Confederate statues in 2017, shortly after President Trump took office.
Leftists apparently had no problem with these same statues during the eight-year presidency of Barack Obama.
The historical monuments only became “racist” after President Trump took office. Why? Because today’s liberalism is a mental disorder marked by hypocrisy, willful ignorance of facts, criminal behavior, and selective outrage.
In August 2017, NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley blasted leftist anarchists who were tearing down statues they suddenly found racist, saying they needed to calm the hell down. Barkley was born in the South and has voted for Democrats most of his life.
“I’m not going to waste my time worrying about these confederate statues,” Barkley said. “That’s wasted energy. I’ve never thought about those statues a day in my life. If you ask most black people, they haven’t thought a day in their lives about those stupid statues.”

Barkley — who has long called for an end to black-on-black violence — said black Americans need to focus on elevating themselves, not on empty gestures.
“What we as black people need to do is: we have to worry about getting our education,” Charles said. “We need to stop killing each other. We need to try to find ways to have more economic opportunity. Those things are important (not worrying about stupid statues).”
