House Speaker Nancy Pelosi once again proved her total lack of self-awareness when she made a ridiculous claim about how “out of touch” President Trump is.
The California Democrat, who recently showed off her fancy freezer and gourmet ice cream, was taken apart on social media after she actually told MSNBC that it is the president who can’t relate to average Americans dealing with hardships caused by the coronavirus crisis.
Trump is completely out of touch with what families are facing.

The Democrat who gave a grand tour of her $24,000 freezer and premium frozen treats, also delayed coronavirus relief packages to add special Democrat “emergency” additions such as millions of dollars to the Kennedy Performing Arts Center.
And she thought it was Trump who needed the lecturing.

“Trump is completely out of touch with what families are facing,” read the caption from Pelosi’s political account accompanying a video clip of her interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.
“No, we can’t take a ‘pause’ on putting money in the pockets of the American people who have been staring down at past due notices for the last months while his special interest friends grow richer,” the tweet read, referring to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s call recently for there to be a pause in passing new funding bills.
Pelosi touted new legislation, telling Hayes that “we have to put money in the pockets of the American people, recognizing the pain, the agony that they are feeling.”
“To those who would suggest a pause I would say, the hunger doesn’t take a pause, the rent doesn’t take a pause, the hardship doesn’t take a pause,” she said. “We have a big need. It’s monumental.”
On Tuesday, Democrats unveiled a more than $3 trillion coronavirus aid package and are hoping to get the House to vote on it as early as Friday. Nearly $1 trillion in aid for states, cities and local governments is proposed in what is being called the Heroes Act as well as $200 billion in “hazard pay” for essential workers.
McConnell called the bill a “big laundry list of pet priorities.”
“I don’t think we have yet felt the urgency of acting immediately,” the Kentucky Republican told reporters Monday.
Though Trump already signed nearly $3 trillion in aid into law, the new bill will extend some of the measures in the previous package while adding new resources like those helping states deal with upcoming November elections amid the pandemic.
Pelosi’s tweet calling out the president for being out of touch triggered an avalanche of backlash on Twitter.
