President Donald Trump’s eldest son earned a trove of social media praise after making a heartfelt offer to a complete stranger.

Donald Trump Jr. responded on Twitter Tuesday to a “really sad” viral video of a “Texas girl” who made a social media appeal for her upcoming wedding.

The original TikTok video, shared on Twitter by entertainment attorney Rogan O’Handley on Tuesday, showed a young woman explaining that her liberal parents refused to attend her wedding because her fiance is a conservative. She asked if there was anyone who would be willing to walk her down the aisle in her wedding scheduled for December.

“So my parents hate my fiance because he’s a conservative and they’re liberal,” she said in the 40-second video clip.

“They refuse to go to our wedding and they gave me an ultimatum of choosing between him or them,” she added.

“So I chose myself and I chose what would make me happiest in the long run,” she continued. “My mother told me I was incapable of being loved or being in a relationship because I was assaulted when I was 17. So I chose my fiance.”

She added that she would be walking herself down the aisle in December before putting out her heartbreaking appeal.

“So if anyone has a dad that would like to walk me down the aisle, let me know,” she concluded.

O’Handley’s tweet explaining the clip requested: “RT if you think it should be a Trump doing the honors!!”

Plenty of Twitter users offered sympathy, encouragement, and even volunteered to help her out, many echoed the idea of Trump “doing the honors.” Soon, the president’s son responded.

“Really sad and touching at the same time,” he tweeted Tuesday.

“Good for her for standing up to the nonsense,” he wrote, adding: “P.S. If she doesn’t find someone better count me in.”

The woman was not identified in the initial tweet but her name appeared to be Tracy Boettcher, as seen at the end of the TikTok clip.

As Twitter users speculated about her identity, she confirmed in a responding tweet before Trump Jr. had offered to help.

Boettcher was flooded with encouraging messages.

Video and film director Robby Starbuck suggested Boettcher’s wedding registry be made available so supporters could “chip in” and help the couple start their new life together.

Trump Jr.’s generous offer prompted many cheers on Twitter.
