Mike Lindell responds to liberal media’s onslaught: ‘I used to think ‘are they really that evil?”

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell admitted he was “appalled” by so-called journalists who attacked him after his appearance at a White House press briefing.

The CEO of the company told Fox Business host Lou Dobbs on Tuesday that he was taken aback by the hate spewed at him following his praise of President Trump and his call for Americans to pray while speaking at Monday’s coronavirus press briefing.

In an appearance on “Lou Dobbs Tonight” on Tuesday, Lindell spoke about how he was asked to share at the briefing on Monday how his company is now working to manufacture much-needed face masks in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. But his “message of hope” was slammed by the liberal media and Lindell was raked over the coals for his remarks.

“With our great president, vice president, and this administration, the other great people in this country, and praying daily, we will get through this and get back to a place that is stronger and safer than ever,” Lindell said from the Rose Garden.

He was immediately attacked for praising the president and bringing up God while talking about his company’s generosity in helping Americans combat the coronavirus pandemic.

“I heard Jim Acosta attacked me too and he was just 10 feet from me in the Rose Garden,” Lindell told Dobbs, referring to the CNN White House reporter who called Lindell’s speech a “PR stunt.”

“This is just evil,” Lindell said, calling out the journalists.

“It’ those newscasters, those journalists, and we know who they are. CNN, what they did to me,” he continued.

“I’m sorry, I put out a message of hope to the country that God had given us grace on November 8, 2016 for such a time… right now we’re part of this big revival, we can sit at home, we can get back in the Word and spend time with our families, and everybody pray that we have this great administration that can make some decisions to get us through this,” he added.

“I’m appalled by the journalists that I see there. I used to think ‘are they really that evil?’ Well, yes there are,” Lindell concluded.

He explained to Dobbs that he had not expected to speak at the news briefing and did so after Trump invited him to the podium. He had been at the White House for hours and had outlined how his Minnesota-based company has taken on the task of making face masks for health care workers, and they were increasing production from 10,000 a day to 50,000.

“I just wrote some notes on the back of my sheet because I wanted this to be a time to give people hope,” Lindell told the Washington Examiner. “I had just heard some great things inside the White House from the president. I wanted to get the message for God out there.”

Unable to read from his notes, however, Lindell opened up from the heart instead.

“Those words, God just let them out,” the 58-year-old entrepreneur explained.

“He used me as a vessel to get that message out there,” he said, adding, “I stand by that statement at that podium.”
