AOC’s meme-worthy tantrum over coronavirus rescue bill provides entertainment in trying times

Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (aka – “Bronx Bolshevik”)  was mocked for throwing a childish tantrum on the House floor over the pork-filled coronavirus aid bill that was pushed by her party.

To be honest, many Republicans and Democrats are upset by the pork that was needlessly crammed into the coronavirus relief package.

Predictably, AOC trashed Republicans for approving the package, even though the Democrat-led House of Representatives also approved it.

In a bizarre spectacle where she bounced up and down like a trained chimpanzee and wildly flailed her arms, Ocasio-Cortez shrieked: “What did the Senate majority fight for? One of the largest corporate bailouts with as few strings as possible in American history. Shameful!”

AOC continued: “The greed of that fight is wrong — for crumbs for our families. There should be shame about what was fought for in this bill!”

Basically, Ocasio-Cortez is upset that the pork-loaded “stimulus bill”  provided funding for corporations, in addition to government checks for millions of individual Americans.

Naturally, AOC did not criticize the Democrat-controlled House for loading the coronavirus bill with $25 million for the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and $350 million for “migrant and refugee resettlement programs.”

AOC was hilariously lampooned on Twitter for her melodramatic showboating.

Actor James Woods quipped: “Zealots never change…”

“@AOC is the perfect useful idiot.”

One man asked: “What does a complete D.C. imbecile and the dumbest human in Congressional history look like when they display their pure stupidity for the entire world to see? Hey anti-corporation CovIdiot AOC, corporations employ hundreds of thousands of Americans!”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ignited more backlash on Twitter for saying that illegal aliens should also be entitled to taxpayer-funded checks.

What the former barmaid fails to understand is that — whether you like it or not — corporations around the country employ millions of Americans. If corporations went under, millions of people would not have jobs to go back to once the coronavirus outbreak subsides.

Besides, if AOC cared so much about everyday Americans, why did she chase 25,000 high-paying jobs out of New York when she protested Amazon’s plans to build a second corporate headquarters in the blue-collar borough of Queens?

As it is, no one should take Ocasio-Cortez’s tantrums about the coronavirus seriously. Two weeks ago, AOC urged all Americans to eat at Chinese restaurants amid the coronavirus outbreak. If you don’t do that, AOC said you’re a racist.

AOC made the laughable claims in an incoherent social-media video.

Ocasio-Cortez cooed: “There is a lot of restaurants that are feeling the pain of racism. Um, where people are literally not patroning Chinese restaurants. Um, they’re not patroning Asian restaurants because of just straight-up racism around the coronavirus.”
