Trish Regan: Dems using coronavirus as second impeachment ‘scam’ against President Trump

Fox Business host Trish Regan blasted Democrats and the liberal media for their attempts to “demonize and destroy” President Donald Trump over the coronavirus crisis.

Regan called out critics of the president for stoking fears and creating “mass hysteria” by relentlessly targeting him over his administration’s response to the virus outbreak, likening the attacks to those Trump was subjected to when Democrats launched their impeachment scam against him.

“We reached a tipping point,” she began on “Trish Regan Primetime” Monday.

“The chorus of hate being leveled at the president is nearing a crescendo as Democrats blame him, and only him, for a virus that originated halfway around the world,” Regan said in her opening monologue.

“This is yet another attempt to impeach the president, and sadly it seems they care very little for any of the destruction they are leaving in their wake. Losses in the stock market, all this, unfortunately, just part of the political casualties for them,” she added.

“You know this is a time to be united, not to be pointing fingers, not to be encouraging hate,” the Fox Business host continued. “And yet what do we see? We see the absolute opposite from the left tonight.”

Regan took aim and fired at the president’s critics.

“The hate is boiling over. Many in the liberal media using – and I mean using –  coronavirus in an attempt to demonize and destroy the president,” she said as she played various video clips of criticism being leveled at the president.

“I don’t think the president is capable of telling us the truth about the coronavirus,” California Rep. Jackie Speier told MSNBC in one clip.

“They have no plan,” MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough said in another clip. “The virus is going to kill Americans regardless of their stupidity.”

Former Obama CHief of Staff and Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel claimed on CBS News that the Trump administration “couldn’t organize a one-car parade.”

“The president should lead, or else he should get out of the way,” CNN’s Brian Stelter declared in another clip, telling Trump to “stay on the golf course.”

MSNBC contributor Eddie Glaude Jr. told host Nicolle Wallace that “this may be Donald Trump’s Katrina,” and is an event” that could take down the president.”

“There is no confidence in the president in anything he says or does,” former vice president Joe Biden said in an MSNBC interview. “I wish he would just be quiet.”

Regan blasted all of the critics in her monologue for their oblivious disregard for the safety of Americans.

“I see. This is impeachment all over again, she said.

“They don’t care who they hurt. Whether it be their need to create mass hysteria to encourage a market sell-off, unlike anything we have seen recently. Or whether it be to create mass hysteria in order to stop our economy dead in its tracks – don’t kid yourself,” Regan continued.

“They told us how much they crave a recession as a way to get rid of Donald Trump,” she said.

“This is impeachment all over again, complete with a whistleblower to complain about our Health and Human Services Committee,” Regan said.

“Did they do this during Ebola? No. We didn’t even see this insanity for SARS and those viruses were far more deadly. So why the melodrama?” she asked.  “I’ll give you two words. Donald Trump.”
