Left-wing horror writer Stephen King blasted the Hachette Book Group for canceling a planned memoir by accused child molester Woody Allen.

King — a virulent Trump-hater —  tweeted: “The Hachette decision to drop the Woody Allen book makes me very uneasy. It’s not him; I don’t give a damn about Mr. Allen. It’s who gets muzzled next that worries me.”

On Friday, Hachette announced that it would not move forward with its plan to publish Allen’s memoir, “Apropos of Nothing.” The book was scheduled to come out in April. The rights to the memoir will now return to Allen.

The move followed backlash over longstanding allegations that Allen had sexually molested his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow when she was seven years old.

Hachette’s decision to drop Allen’s memoir came one day after dozens of employees staged a walkout to protest the company’s decision to publish it.

In a statement, a rep for Hachette Book Group explained the cancellation:

“The decision to cancel Mr. Allen’s book was a difficult one. At HBG we take our relationships with authors very seriously, and do not cancel books lightly. We have published and will continue to publish many challenging books.

Over the past few days, HBG leadership had extensive conversations with our staff and others. After listening, we came to the conclusion that moving forward with publication would not be feasible for HBG.”

Dylan Farrow reacted by thanking the book publisher for standing in solidarity with her.

Dylan tweeted: “To each and every individual who, at great professional risk to themselves, stood in solidarity with my brother, myself, and all victims of sexual abuse yesterday: words will never describe the debt of gratitude I owe to you. Thank you so very much.”

Dylan’s brother, journalist Ronan Farrow, also tweeted his thanks to Hachette.

Ronan tweeted: “I’m grateful to all the Hachette employees and authors who spoke up and to the company for listening.”

In 2016, Ronan wrote an essay where he revealed that his biological father, Woody Allen, had molested his adopted sister Dylan as a little girl.

At the time, Ronan slammed Hollywood’s craven “culture of acquiescence” toward child molesters, rapists, and other sexual predators.

It’s well-documented that Woody Allen had a sexual relationship with Ronan’s other adopted sister, Soon-Yi, whom Allen later married. At the time he allegedly molested Soon Yi, Allen was dating her adoptive mom, actress Mia Farrow (Ronan’s biological mom).

Over the years, many people came forward (like child actors Corey Feldman, the late Corey Haim, and “Lord of the Rings” star Elijah Wood) detailing how predatory Hollywood executives threw parties where they invited young boys, sexually molested them, and then passed them around to each other.

In 2011, Feldman said child sex abuse is rampant in show business. “The No. 1 problem in Hollywood was, is, and always will be pedophilia,” he said. “I was surrounded by pedophiles.”

Despite Feldman’s shocking revelations, no actions were taken to crack down on pedophiles in the entertainment industry. Reminder: Hollywood leftists trash President Trump every day while ignoring blatant child abuse in their midst.
