‘Profoundly saddening’: Actress goes on wild rant glorifying her abortion

Actress Busy Philipps and other pro-abortion activists bragged about getting abortions at a rally outside the U.S. Supreme Court that was organized by the Center for Reproductive Rights.

The rally took place as Supreme Court justices heard oral arguments over a 2014 Louisiana law that requires doctors at abortion clinics to have privileges to admit patients at nearby hospitals. (Note that the law was passed during Barack Obama’s presidency.)

The state says the law is designed to bolster patient safety, while attorneys challenging the law say it’s a move to drastically reduce the number of doctors who can perform abortions.

At the rally, Philipps said she owes all her success to getting an abortion at age 15. Busy said if she had not been able to abort her baby, her life would’ve been ruined.

“Here I was sitting in Los Angeles in my beautiful office of my own late-night talk show,” Philips recalled. “Soon, I would be driving my hybrid car to my beautiful f**king home, to kiss my two beautiful and healthy children and my husband, who had taken the year off to parent so I could focus on my career.”

Philipps continued: “I have all of this — all of it — because I was allowed bodily autonomy at 15. I will not be shamed into being quiet. We will not be shamed into being quiet. Never again! I will never stop talking about my abortion or my periods or my experiences in childbirth, my episiotomies, my yeast infections, or my ovulation that lines up with the moon!”

Ironically, many Americans had never heard of Busy Philipps before she bragged about her abortion.

Pro-life activist Jeanne Mancini — the president of March for Life — said Philipps’ shallow glorification of abortion was “profoundly saddening.”

Mancini told Fox News: “Mother Theresa said it best: ‘Abortion is anti-woman. Three-quarters of its victims are women: half the babies and all the mothers.’ Numerous groups exist to help a woman suffering from having taken the life of her unborn child. There is always hope and healing for anyone caught in the darkness, anger, agitation and depression of abortion.”

Live Action President Lila Rose chimed in: “Our freedom and happiness can never be bought with the blood of our children.”

On Twitter, leftist abortion fans proudly boasted about their abortions.

It’s one thing to get an abortion; it’s another to brag about it as if that’s some sort of achievement.

Left-wing women think it’s cool to abort babies. Ever heard of birth control?

In January, President Trump made history by becoming the first U.S. president to speak at the annual March for Life rally in Washington, D.C.

Abortion provider Planned Parenthood receives about $543 million in taxpayer-funded federal aid each year.

Pro-life activists are furious that taxpayer money is being used to abort babies — even those in the third trimester of pregnancy who are crowning.

At the 2019 State of the Union address, President Trump urged Congress to pass legislation that would outlaw inhumane, late-term abortions. Trump said: “To defend the dignity of every person, I am asking Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb.”
