Fox Business opinion host Lou Dobbs tore into Lindsey Graham — the chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee — saying Graham has done nothing to address the multiple FISA abuses perpetrated by the Obama FBI when it repeatedly lied to the FISA Court to illegally spy on 2016 Trump campaign aides.
Dobbs says instead of grandstanding and posturing on television, Senator Graham should actually move the ball forward.
“Lindsey Graham is saying that he just can’t go along with Senator Rand Paul in seeking to reform FISA and he wants a little time to be deliberative,” Dobbs said. “At what point is there going to be an accountability quotient in this town that smacks of anything like real journalism?”
Fox News contributor Byron York agreed, saying that “a lot of Republicans are frustrated with Lindsey Graham.”
Dobbs explained: “He hasn’t done a damn thing as the chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, promising all the while that he would be ‘investigating the investigators, he would be pursuing truth, justice, and the American way.’ He is an absolute non-entity!”
York remarked that former Senate Judiciary chairman Chuck Grassley was far more effective and actually uncovered multiple instances of FISA abuse committed by the Obama DOJ.
In contrast, York says Lindsey Graham has been totally impotent.
York recounted: “His predecessor, Chuck Grassley, was doing that. A lot of the things that Devon Nunez found out in investigating what the FBI did against the Trump campaign, Grassley found out independently. And it actually helped the credibility of the whole thing. None of that appears to be going on now.”

Senator Graham started closed-door interviews this week as part of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s investigation into FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) abuse and the shady origins of the Russia collusion hoax.
In December 2019, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz (an Obama appointee) found 17 “significant inaccuracies and omissions” in the Obama Justice Department’s FISA applications used to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
In fact, the abuses were so glaring that the FISA Court chief judge torched the Obama FBI for defrauding the court to obtain bogus warrants to illegally spy on Page.
At the time these alleged FISA abuses occurred, Obama FBI Director James Comey was in charge of the agency. President Trump fired Comey in May 2017.

This is not the first time that Lou Dobbs has railed against Senator Graham. In October, Dobbs blasted Graham for not doing anything to defend President Trump during the Democrats’ secret, one-sided impeachment inquiry.
“For nine months, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee [Lindsey Graham] has not lifted a finger to help this president!” Dobbs said at the time. “He blathers little sound bites for or against the president every week but has done nothing. He is an embarrassment to the government of this country and its traditions.”
Few people point this out when they mock Lou Dobbs, but the Harvard graduate worked at CNN since its inception in 1980 — until 2011, when he joined the Fox Business Network.
During his 31-year stint at CNN, Dobbs repeatedly clashed with the left-wing network’s former president Rick Kaplan (1997-2000), a close pal of then-president Bill Clinton. At the time, Dobbs said Kaplan was “clearly partisan” and was rabidly shilling pro-Clinton stories as objective news.
