A new Fox News poll shows that the Democrats’ failed impeachment is backfiring, as a majority of voters surveyed (56%) now believe that President Trump will be re-elected. That’s a 12-point spike since October, at the height of the impeachment hysteria.
Expectations of a Trump reelection surged 9 points among Republicans and a whopping 16 points among Democrats, according to the Fox News poll of 1,000 registered voters.
That’s even more bullish than expectations were for former President Barack Obama. Eight years ago, 52% of voters surveyed thought that Obama would be re-elected.

Meanwhile, socialist Bernie Sanders cemented his status as the Democratic Party’s frontrunner by knocking Joe Biden out as the preferred nominee among Dem primary voters. Up until now, Biden was consistently the frontrunner.
The poll shows Senator Sanders scoring a record 31% support among Democratic primary voters. That’s a spike of 8 points since last month.
Lagging 13 points behind is former vice president Biden, who captured a dismal 18% of the survey.
Nipping at Biden’s heels just 2 points behind is former New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg at 16% — a six-point increase over the past four weeks.
Not surprisingly, majorities of Democratic primary voters think that Bernie (65 percent), Bloomberg (57 percent) and Biden (56 percent) can beat President Trump.
Of course, keep in mind that Democrats overwhelmingly believed that Hillary Clinton would annihilate Donald Trump in 2016. Instead, Trump won the electoral college in a landslide.
Despite the bullish poll results for Bernie Sanders, the Democratic Party is being splintered by a civil war between the far-left faction that champions socialism and the moderates that comprise the majority of the party.
Chris Burns, a financial planner with Dynamic Money, said the reason why so many Millennials are flocking to Bernie and embracing socialism is that the vast majority of young voters are financially illiterate.
In fact, a new study shows that only 16% of Millennials are financially literate. Burns says schools don’t educate young people about financial matters. That’s why the radical Left is ignorantly embracing socialism.
Burns said today’s youth are wooed by Bernie’s repeated promises of “free stuff.”
“This isn’t just that we have kids not caring or kids getting excited about ‘revolutionary’ ideas, this is a lack of understanding of how [socialism] actually works,” Burns told Fox News.
“We don’t get into the practical reality of what has made this the wealthiest country on Earth, the best economy in the world,” Burns said. “It’s certainly not [because of] socialism.”

The media and his Democratic rivals repeatedly accuse billionaire Mike Bloomberg of “trying to buy the election” simply because he mass-buys TV ads with his own money.
But John Burns said Bernie is trying to buy the election — with all our money.
“Bernie constantly says Bloomberg is buying the election, but how much is Bernie buying an election when he tells this entire group of people that everything is going to be free?” Burns asked. Promises of free stuff is “really attractive” to Millennials, he added.
Fox News host Pete Hegseth — a Princeton graduate — agreed: “So Bloomberg is buying the election with his own money. Bernie wants to buy the election with all of our money.”
Flashback: Bernie Sanders in 2011: “These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America — in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina — where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger.”
Reality: Hungry Venezuelans are digging through trash for food every day. This is socialism.
