Trump predicts Ocasio-Cortez will launch primary bid against Chuck Schumer – and win!

President Donald Trump continued celebrating his impeachment acquittal victory and impressive poll numbers by unveiling a few election predictions for Democrats.

The president referred to some of the Democratic Party’s leading names in tweets where he suggested how New York’s lineup could be affected by how “badly” Democrats handled impeachment, predicting a “win” by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who would primary Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer.

Trump also took aim at House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, saying he has a “good chance” of losing in New York’s 10th Congressional District to a primary opponent.

“Pelosi will lose the House, AGAIN!” Trump tweeted Monday.

“My poll numbers great,” he added, referring to his high approval ratings with some polls showing him with a 49% rating – his highest since first taking office in 2017.

At a lunch with television journalists before the State of the Union last week, Trump had mentioned Ocasio-Cortez against Schumer and predicted the progressive freshman would “kick his ass.”

Schumer, who is not up for reelection until 2022, wrote to 74 inspector generals on Monday asking for “immediate action to investigate any and all instances of retaliation” against whistleblowers following Trump’s firing of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who appeared as a witness for Democrats in Trump’s impeachment proceedings.

Meanwhile, Nadler has suggested that the House will continue investigating the president and his actions regarding Ukraine. Lindsey Boylan, a former New York state official, and Jonathan Herzog, a former staffer for 2020 hopeful Andrew Yang, will face Nadler in the Democratic primary for his House seat which he has held since 2013.

“It’s all turning, and fast!” Trump wrote in another tweet with a video of someone heckling Nadler in a video.

“MVP Heckler,” he wrote.

Trump took another shot at “Cryin’ Chuck” Schumer in a tweet on Sunday predicting an election loss for Democratic Alabama Sen. Doug Jones, who is up for re-election this year.

Not forgetting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the president gave her a shout-out in another tweet thanking her.

“Corrupt Democrat politicians have brought me to highest polling numbers ever with the Impeachment Hoax,” he wrote. “Thank you Nancy!”

Trump thanked New York Post opinion writer Miranda Devine for her column in which she also mentioned Pelosi.

And with Democrats poised to face their next caucuses in New Hampshire, following last week’s debacle in Iowa, Trump teased that he was heading to Manchester to “shake up the Dems a little bit.”

“Hope the Fake News, which never discusses it, is talking about the big crowds forming for my New Hampshire Rally tonight,” he wrote. “They won’t.”
