If you can’t beat ’em, kill ’em. That seems to be the modus operandi of the violent Left, after a van plowed into a pro-Trump voter registration tent in Jacksonville, Florida. Hours later, Gregory Timm — the suspect in what some are calling a politically-motivated “attempted mass murder” — was arrested.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office arrested Gregory William Loel Timm, 27, after he was identified as the person who drove the van through a GOP voter registration tent.
Timm was charged with aggravated assault, criminal mischief and driving with a suspended license, the Sheriff’s Department tweeted at 2 a.m. Eastern time.
The shocking attack occurred Feb. 8 at 3:50 p.m. ET in a Walmart parking lot, where six volunteers from the Duval County Republican Party were registering voters in a tent.
There were several signs that read “Trump-Pence” and “Join the Landslide: Trump 2020″ near the tent. That’s when Timm screeched up in his van, plowed through the tent, and knocked it over.
Fortunately, no one was killed or hurt. But the incident sent shock waves among the volunteers, who never imagined that they could be killed for registering Trump voters. “It happened so quickly. I just barely got out of the way,” volunteer Nina Williams told News4Jax.
Mark Alfieri, another volunteer, said the van came to within six inches of the group.
“Out of the blue, a man approached us in a van, was waving at us, kind of a friendly demeanor,” Alfieri told Action News. “I thought he was coming up to talk to us. Instead, he accelerated his vehicle and plowed right into our tent and our tables.”
Alfieri said afterward, Gregory Timm got out of his van and gleefully recorded the damage on his cell phone. He then gave the volunteers the finger before fleeing the scene.
“After he ran over everything, he backed up, took out a cell phone [and] recorded the damage,” Alfieri recounted. “[He] made some obscene gestures at us and then proceeded to leave the complex.”

President Trump reacted to the attack on Twitter, warning: “Be careful, tough guys, who you play with!”

Dean Black, the chairman of the Duval GOP, condemned the attack in a statement:
“We are outraged by this senseless act of violence toward our great volunteers. The Republican Party of Duval County will not be intimidated by these cowards and we will not be silenced.
I call on every Republican in our great city to stand up, get involved, and show these radicals that we will not be intimidated from exercising our Constitutional rights.”
The Republican Party of Duval County said they will redouble their efforts to register voters following the senseless attack.
Florida senator Marco Rubio said he’s “thanking God that no one was injured in today’s politically motivated attack against Duval GOP volunteers today.”

Former Florida Governor Rick Scott — who’s now a U.S. senator — said Republicans will not be deterred by this politically-motivated act of aggression.
Scott tweeted: “This appears to be a politically-motivated attack on hard-working volunteers in Duval County. Thankful that no one was hurt. Duval GOP will not be silenced or intimidated. They will redouble their efforts to support strong Republicans in NE Florida and around the state!”

Congressman Steve Scalise — who was almost murdered in 2017 by a crazed leftist who wanted to assassinate Republicans — said enough is enough. Scalise urged the Left to condemn all acts of violence by its side.
He tweeted: “Donald Trump supporters shouldn’t have to fear for their lives while registering people to vote. There’s no place for violence in politics. We settle differences at the ballot box.”
“This can’t be the new normal. Democrats need to join me in condemning this behavior.”

This is today’s violent, radical Left. They don’t just disagree with your political views; they want to hurt or kill you.

It's about time for #ANTIFA to be dealt with. How have we allowed these little dirtbags the liberty of walking around freely in ski masks while carrying weapons and attacking innocent civilians. Would you consider#ANTIFA a Domestic Terrorist Organization??pic.twitter.com/HaeVJpGUr8
