White House social media director Dan Scavino triggered liberals with a video of a would-be thief getting zapped while trying to nab a Trump campaign sign.
Scavino shared a video clip on Twitter of a man being electrocuted after he tried to steal a campaign sign from someone’s yard, presumably one of the president’s supporters.

“When this guy with Trump Derangement Syndrome went to steal a #TrumpPence campaign sign there was one problem, it was electrified,” Scavino captioned the tweet which he shared on Thursday.
It was not clear where or when the video was taken but it showed the moment the man approached the sign and attempted to pull it out from the ground it was staked in. He was apparently met with an electric shock as he could be seen in the video jumping back in pain.
The president’s daughter and senior adviser Ivanka Trump apparently liked Scavino’s post which, at the time of this writing, had been viewed almost 214,000 times and retweeted nearly 6,000 tines.

“If you look closely, it appears he wet his pants,” former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee tweeted.

Attempts to steal Trump yard signs are nothing new, with the problem being highlighted even back in the 2016 presidential race. Homeowners faced many instances of vandalism, theft and sometimes even threats of gun violence over the Trump-supporting signs.
Surveillance cameras caught instances of sign-stealers multiple times, with one New Jersey homeowner claiming in 2016 that his Trump flag had been stolen nearly a dozen times. The president’s supporters fought back, coming up with alternative ways to secure their property and to defy the anti-Trump thieves.
Ouch! Homeowner booby traps Trump sign and gives repeat thief a lesson he won’t soon forget https://t.co/H2RIC9HPo6 pic.twitter.com/YM03kxIQyK

Scavino’s tweet on Thursday set off the left on social media who whined about him “calling for violence” and condemning a homeowner for electrifying the sign.
lol I love that people are triggered that Dan shared this https://t.co/uVyjesvjed

There were also plenty of comments about the video being “staged.”
Lets be clear- This Trump official is calling for violence against those who oppose Trump. Period. These are the stakes for 2020. I can assure you that before this campaign is over Team Trump will be going far beyond “suggesting” violence to keep Trump in power.

@jaredkushner @karliekloss what kind of deranged individual electrifies a yard sign?
— Amy Rovin (@MomRovin) January 2, 2020
Clearly a staged video.
The sign isn’t electrified.
The person is acting.
You spread propaganda.
How much are you making off of fooling these people?

Many Twitter users let Scavino know they appreciated the laugh and the would-be thief got what was coming to him.
I let this loop like 20 times before commenting.
