New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd let her Republican brother take over for her on Thanksgiving Day and he delivered a column blasting Democrats while praising President Donald Trump.
Kevin Dowd delivered his take on why a second term for Trump is just what America needs as he took over for his Pulitzer Prize-winning sister who is anything but a fan of the president.

“No matter how bad your Thanksgiving is, mine will be worse,” Dowd wrote introducing the column in The New York Times Thursday by her brother and explaining that their sister is also in the GOP camp as she, “thinks Jim Jordan is hot.”
Kevin Dowd kicked off his column by addressing concerns his sister’s fans have brought to her attention as to why he is still a fan of Trump’s.
“My short answer is always the same: Have you looked at the alternative?” he asked, noting how “liberals still sneer at religious conservatives.”
“I feel safe in my bed with the way the president is handling Iran and North Korea,” says @maureendowd’s brother, Kevin. “Most of all, I support him for saving the Supreme Court from Hillary Clinton.” https://t.co/UJ2B1nJFlQ

He went on to praise the president for the economy, the jobless rate and his unapologetic support of law enforcement, adding that he feels “safe in my bed with the way the president is handling Iran and North Korea” and for “saving the Supreme Court from Hillary Clinton.”
“Trump came from the roughest job training in the world: the New York construction trade. His manners are sometimes missing. He can be coarse and a bully. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised that he has done exactly what he promised despite a hostile press,” Dowd wrote, slamming the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry as a “farce.”
“The hearings ended with a thud,” he noted, calling out the Democrats and the media for attempts to “valorize bureaucrats as patriots,” arguing that “if these people were that conflicted, they should have quit.”
“If Trump is as bad as Democrats say, let the voters impeach him. Adam Schiff has pursued the president with the obsessive zeal of Inspector Javert in ‘Les Misérables,’ but his results have looked more like Inspector Clouseau’s,” he added.
“The Democrats have never recovered from the 2016 election when they nominated the worst candidate in political history and lost to a political novice,” Dowd wrote before going on to give his scathing assessment of the 2020 Democratic field.
He slammed the “billionaire-bashing socialists,” Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Bernie Sanders of Vermont, and said they should “run together as the End of Days ticket.” He pointed out that former Vice President Joe Biden, much like the latest entrant into the race, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, “has been forced to grovel and renounce all past career accomplishments on crime prevention.”
Dowd also called out the media for attacking Trump daily, writing “opinion columns packed with innuendo and anonymous sources” while he also noted that, without Trump, newspaper subscription rates would be “cut in half.”
Apparently readers of The New York Times were not pleased with the hijacked column, preferring to hear from the more left-leaning Dowd who has delivered such Trump-bashing pieces as “A Down and Dirty White House and “Impeaching the Peach One,”
Again, we don’t have to listen to Trump supporters. Their opinions don’t matter, and they never will.

No, there’s no hope for any people. As long as Mr. Dowd and his fellow conservatives hold sway humanity is doomed. The sad part is that his sister doesn’t have the courage of her convictions and we who pay for the paper are subject to bouts of insults from this reactionary.

You can’t rationalize with irrational people. He lives in an alternative universe

Obviously Kevin is an idiot. And/or a misogynist.

So much for the “tolerant” left.
Other Twitter users offered a different perspective.
One smart brother. Hand him over your column and spend your time worthwhile
