Fox News host Greg Gutfeld took a shot at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with a mocking tweet reacting to a major donation by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
Gutfeld tweeted his sarcastic jibe in response to a Forbes report that the billionaire announced last week that he donated $98.5 million to several organizations helping homeless families.

“Imagine what this big stupid jerk could have done to NYC ,” Gutfeld tweeted, adding “thank god AOC kept him out!”

The co-host of Fox News’ “The Five” comment made a not-so-veiled reference to Amazon canceling plans earlier this year to build a headquarters in Long Island City. While that project was supported by Queens residents as it promised to bring in 25,000 new jobs to the area, it was nixed after protests from Ocasio-Cortez and others due to tax incentives.
“The investment in Long Island City was going to create a whole cluster of activity around it,” Kathryn Wylde, CEO of the nonprofit Partnership for New York City, said earlier this year according to the New York Post which reported that the deal would have had Amazon “invest in a 600-seat public school; a workforce development and training space; an artists’ workspace; and 149,650 square feet of public open space, among other projects — all of which is now lost.”
New York Democrats like Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio condemned the interference by Ocasio-Cortez and her progressive cohorts which caused “tremendous damage.” Eventually, Amazon looked for corporate space in Manhattan.
Amazon’s founder and CEO announced last week that he had donated nearly $100 million to 32 organizations from 23 states through his Bezos Day One Fund, with each recipient receiving donations ranging from $1.25 million to $5 million.
The total in donations exceeded last year’s amount by $1 million and despite the treatment from Ocasio-Cortez and others, Bezos still included one New York organization in this year’s donations, giving Covenant House a $5 million gift.
Meanwhile, Gutfeld’s shot at Ocasio-Cortez over the news of Bezos’ donations sparked plenty of Twitter reactions.
And instead of being happy that a whole lot of people are going to be helped by this huge donation, our friends on the left are more interested in complaining that he’s too rich and that this isn’t enough. #caring

I trust Bezo’s more with his money than liberals who would use it to line their own pockets and those of there donors.

Bet AOC is proud of herself that she saved the city of millions of dollars in donations while she sits in her gated luxury apartment in DC
