The Young Turks officially choose their socialist

The host and founder of the radically left-wing show known as “The Young Turks” has chosen to endorse the most radical Democrat running in the 2020 presidential election.

Host Cenk Uygur reached the decision after first thinking long and hard about endorsing the second most radical Democrat running in the election, Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

“So I want to tell you guys, for those of you who suspected that I love Elizabeth Warren, it’s true, I do. I think she’s fantastic. I think she’s smart, strategic, incredibly progressive,” Uygur announced. “I think she’s done minor miracles like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.”

“She did that when she wasn’t even a senator, and and to this day, that is a work of wonder that she could get that past Republicans and Democrats who were both opposed to it. And we have the great honor of having two giant progressives in this race. Having said that, I endorse Bernie Sanders.”

Why Sen. Bernie Sanders over Warren? Because despite Warren’s radical proposals, she’s simply not radical enough for Uygur, a man whose own nephew and fellow “The Young Turks” host argued months earlier that America deserved the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

Listen to his full endorsement below:

“Bernie, yes, he is slightly more progressive than Elizabeth Warren,” Uygur admitted.

While both candidates support siphoning wealth from billionaire business owners to fund the lifestyles of every American and non-American alike, Sanders has taken the extra step toward radicalism by defending nefarious dictators and allying with anti-Semites.

“I trust both of them to be true progressives, and I think they’ve both proven that over and over again,” Uygur continued. “But there are two other factors that are very, very important. I think the right tack is revolution, not reform. And by revolution, I mean a political revolution obviously.

And so I don’t want to negotiate with this current system. I think it’ll take too long, and I don’t think that it’s the right strategy. I’d like to do a full-frontal assault. … I think it’s the sure path to victory.

While it’s unclear exactly what sort of “political revolution” he seeks, Sanders’ close relationship with radical socialist “squad” member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Uygur’s own support for her “Green New Deal” initiative suggests he wants to completely transform America into a socialist “utopia.”

Released last spring, AOC’s “GND” calls for eliminating air travel, combustion-engine vehicles (cars), nuclear energy, fossil fuel energy, meat consumption and farting cows. It also calls for granting everybody access to unlimited government-funded freebies, including free health care, free education, free housing, etc.

AOC’s former chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, readily admitted over the summer that they wanted to “change the entire economy.”

Uygur seemed to echo this sentiment in his endorsement.

“In my opinion, Bernie Sanders’ strategy is going to be quicker, more effective,” he said. “Otherwise, I wouldn’t pick him. I think that the right thing to do is to completely and utterly challenge the system, which is what Bernie has been doing all along.”

Challenging the system apparently means not collaborating with Republicans and instead using the power of executive fiat to force the “progressive” agenda on all Americans.

Uygur concluded his endorsement by touting Sanders’ alleged record.

“You know, you sometimes you see Bernie and the media get on him — they’ll talk about his age but not the age of others, and you see a little bit of slumped shoulders,” he said. “You know why? Because he carried us. He carried us for 40 years. It’s time for us to carry him back.”

It’s not clear what he meant. Sanders has only served in Congress for 21 years. Years during which he’s amassed a $2.5 million fortune while only sponsoring a handful of successful bills.

“Sanders spent most of his life as an angry radical and agitator who never accomplished much of anything. … One of his first jobs was registering people for food stamps, and it was all downhill from there,” Investor’s Business Daily notes.

“Sanders took his first bride to live in a maple sugar shack with a dirt floor, and she soon left him. Penniless, he went on unemployment. Then he had a child out of wedlock. Desperate, he tried carpentry but could barely sink a nail. ‘He was a shi**y carpenter,’ a friend told Politico Magazine. ‘His carpentry was not going to support him, and didn’t.'”

Afterward, he reportedly “tried his hand freelancing for leftist rags” and even reportedly lived at a hippy commune for some time, until he was kicked out over his laziness.

“The only thing he was good at was talking … non-stop … about socialism and how the rich were ripping everybody off,” IBD’s report continued. “‘The whole quality of life in America is based on greed,’ the bitter layabout said. ‘I believe in the redistribution of wealth in this nation.'”

Decades later, the reportedly “messy slob” and bum turned wealthy congressman is now ready to make his socialist dreams become reality. And as can be seen by the video up top, radicals like Cenk Uygur are all aboard.
