Trump killing of ISIS founder Baghdadi ‘vindicates’ Syria pullout says White House source

President Trump’s bold call to kill ISIS founder Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi “vindicates” his decision to pull U.S. troops out of Syria. That’s what a White House official told Fox News correspondent Kevin Corke.

Fox News host Ed Henry said to Corke: “Obviously, there has been some pushback from both parties [about Syria withdrawal]. Maybe there’s a sense of relief [at the White House] this morning that the President’s policy is being vindicated.”

Corke responded by saying that’s “exactly” what a White House official told him before the al-Baghdadi operation by U.S. Special Forces.

“This is exactly what a White House source said to me previous to this operation,” Corke remarked. “The idea is simply this: We have poured billions into this region — into Iraq and Syria — since 2014. I reached out to our sources here, and they say it’s upwards of $50 billion since 2014.”

Kevin Corke explained: “The idea the President has made clear is: We needn’t spend our blood and treasure when we can support the people on the ground who are most impacted by these particular groups, and that seems to have been vindicated by this operation.”

The best part is watching leftists like Nancy Pelosi squirm.

As BizPac Review reported, saber-rattling warmongers from both political parties were furious when President Trump announced three weeks ago that he planned to pull U.S. troops from Syria.

Republican Senator Mitch McConnell criticized Trump’s decision in a scathing op-ed.

War-mongering RINOs and many Democrats want the United States to continue to spill American blood and waste trillions of dollars to keep fighting pointless tribal wars in the Middle East.

Trump campaigned on ending the decades-long U.S. interventions in bloody, Middle Eastern wars that have drained us financially and emotionally. Enough is enough.

Republican Senator Rand Paul agreed with the President’s decision to withdraw from Syria. In a recent op-ed, Paul said it’s time for the United States to stop fighting other people’s civil wars.

Paul wrote: “Would you be willing to send your son or daughter to stand between two armies 7,000 miles away as a human shield? I would notThere is no clear U.S. interest and no need for our troops.

The Kurds and the Turks have been fighting for centuries. U.S. intervention in their border dispute has not resulted in a resolution of the longstanding conflict, so why shed more American blood?

With this weekend’s killing of ISIS founder al-Baghdadi and last month’s takeout of Osama bin Laden’s son (an Al Qaeda leader), President Trump has done more to annihilate radical Islamic terrorism in the Middle East than Barack Obama ever did.

It is time to bring our troops home — and not in body bags.
