Trump signs border wall as tour whips up excitement. With a Sharpie, of course.

While the left is perpetually living in meltdown mode, President Trump is having the time of his life — and getting things done.

Coming off the heels of a somewhat secretive, yet highly successful trip to California (more on that later), Trump took a quick detour to hit the southern border.

Stemming the never-ending tide of illegal immigrants from entering the country is a campaign promise that catapulted Trump into the Oval Office. It’s also a mission that is proving to be among his most difficult to deliver, often with little-to-no help from lawmakers on either side of the aisle.

That didn’t stop Trump from visiting that ‘big, beautiful wall’ and donning it with his famous signature.

Trump thanked construction workers for their part in protecting the country before he was politely interrupted.

“Mr. President, there’s a tradition here on the border that anyone who works on the wall signs the wall for us,” a woman worker said.

A flattered Trump was more than happy to sign away and even appeared to use a Sharpie pen to do it.

Trump’s love of Sharpies came into bizarre focus when the media went berserk over an alleged “doctored” map of Hurricane Dorian’s path.

While Dorian ripped through the Bahamas, leaving a path of sheer devastation, and threatened the East Coast of Florida the media fixated on Trump’s report that the hurricane’s path could reach as far as Alabama.

Thankfully, Dorian remained mostly offshore and wasn’t nearly as damaging to the U.S. as was expected. The media’s obsession with Trump’s map finally faded, but Trump’s love of Sharpies clearly did not.

Trump discussed more details about the wall, which can be viewed below:

His wall signing was met with more cheers than jeers:

He sure does, doesn’t he?

Trump also loves winning, and he seems to be doing a lot of it so far during his first term as President. As mentioned earlier, Trump was returning from a quick trip to deep-blue California. Trump’s planned visit to raise money for his reelection campaign in Beverly Hills was met with surprise and disgust by many Hollywood elites.

Actress Debra Messing came under heavy fire when she tried to intimidate potential donors and demanded a public list of California Trump supporters.

Despite some locations for the fundraisers remaining secret for attendees’ protection, it seems intimidation tactics won’t work to stop Trump. Because his support is showing up big time.

Trump was expected to raise upwards of $15 million in one day while visiting liberal California, Yahoo News reported.

While Hillary Clinton proved better than anyone that someone can amass huge amounts of cash and still come out a loser, the speed at which Trump raked in the donations — in a liberal state — signals a bigger issue for Dems than money.

No doubt, long lines at Trump rallies have boasted the president’s approval in mostly Trump-friendly states. But, as Yahoo noted, raising this kind of cash in California should be concerning for Dems.

The Trump campaign has already amassed a war chest of $204 million, surpassing every Democrat combined. Trump’s fundraising efforts in the second quarter of 2019 surpassed Barack Obama’s at the same time in his presidency in 2012, Yahoo reported.
