Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s campaign seems to be having a problem with numbers.
It seems truthfully counting crowd sizes has become a challenge for the Massachusetts Democrat as her campaign inflated attendance numbers again this week.

Monday’s rally in New York City’s Washington Square Park was touted as Warren’s largest to date. Her campaign, estimating that 20,000 people showed up, told The Hill that they stopped counting once the 2020 hopeful began her speech.

But New York City Parks was not able to back up those claims and said the event was approved for only half of that attendance size.
Crystal Howard, NYC Parks’ Assistant Commissioner for Communications, told Breitbart News that the park’s capacity is 10,000 people and the rally was given a permit for 8,000 to 10,000 to attend Monday’s event. The spokeswoman added that NYC Parks “can’t corroborate the campaign’s count.”

Crowd size was touted by Warren’s team at other recent events as well.
Her Seattle Center event last month supposedly drew in a crowd of 15,000 with her campaign telling The Hill that it was the largest crowd in her presidential bid.
Warren comes out to a very excited crowd. Campaign says there are 15000 people here, the biggest crowd of the campaign and a VERY long selfie line in the same week she drew 12k in St. Paul and 4K in LA. pic.twitter.com/PgekYuY5bq

“Campaign volunteers were ‘checking in’ attendees via a text method at the restricted point of entry, so I would think their estimates were about as accurate as they could be for an outdoor, non-ticketed event,” Deborah Daoust, Seattle Center’s director of communications, said in an email to Breitbart News, adding that 15,000 seemed “pretty close to the mark.”
That event followed one earlier last month when Warren’s team claimed 12,000 people attended a town hall meeting at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. But only about 4,000 to 6,000 were in attendance then, according to Breitbart:
The college’s college security staff said they could not provide a crowd estimate. So Breitbart News contacted the office in charge of facilities rental at Macalester. The Warren campaign had initially rented the Leonard Center, which holds 4,000 people. That was deemed to be too small for the event, given expected attendance. So it was moved outside, to Shaw Field — the largest field on campus, with a capacity of 3,000, plus “spillover” beyond.
It seems fair to grant the Warren campaign an attendance of at least 4,000 — i.e. more than the Leonard Center. But given the size of Shaw Field, it is difficult to believe 12,000 people attended. A generous estimate would be 6,000.
Even with inflated numbers, Warren has a long way to go to ever reach the numbers President Trump easily draws into his rallies, even breaking a record at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire last month.
Great news! Tonight, we broke the all-time attendance record previously held by Elton John at #SNHUArena in Manchester, New Hampshire! https://t.co/GHvFBkA2KZ

Twitter users were more than ready to comment on Warren’s New York City rally numbers.
The park only holds 10,000 and it looked half empty from overhead.

The NYC park Warren’s team is estimating had a crowd of 20,000 only holds 10,000.
Oops. Fake indian. Fake crowd.

That is not 20K. More close to 10K tops. And the park is across from NYU Uber liberal campus. I bet they are all students and professors. Probably given college credits to attend the rally. Warren would be lucky to get 500 supporters in a small Midwest city.
