Ilhan Omar’s rendezvous with married lover put child in danger, says wife

According to stunning allegations unveiled Tuesday, anti-Semitic Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar is a homewrecker — and not just any homewrecker, but a shameless one who’s been openly prancing about Washington, D.C. with her beau since at least March.

The allegations were unveiled in a divorce filing submitted by a Washington, D.C. woman, Dr. Beth Mynett, the wife of longtime political aide and consultant Tim Mynett.

The parties physically separated on or about April 7, 2019, when Defendant [Tim] told Plaintiff [Dr. Mynett] that he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar,” the filing reads.

Defendant met Rep. Omar while working for her. Although devastated by the betrayal and deceit that preceded his abrupt declaration, Plaintiff told Defendant that she loved him, and was willing to fight for the marriage. Defendant, however, told her that was not an option for him. … It is clear to Plaintiff that her marriage to Defendant is over and that there is no hope of reconciliation.”

But photo and video evidence reviewed by Daily Mail shows Omar publicly spending time with and even holding Tim’s hand as early as March, a month before he revealed his affair to his wife.

“Omar was dining and holding hands with a mystery man at a secluded Italian restaurant outside of Los Angeles back in March. That man was Mynett, who tried to prevent a bystander from taking a video of the secret couple,” the outlet reported Tuesday.

The two were also reportedly seen together at a Council on American-Islamic Relations event in May and in Los Angeles in June.

“Mynett has even met Omar’s daughter Isra, 16, photographed together on two separate occasions,” the Mail noted.

The divorce filing also alleges that Tim has involved their son in his affair.

“They have a 13-year-old son. Dr. Mynett says even before her husband told her about the affair, he had already introduced their son to Rep. Omar,” Fox News anchor Trace Gallagher confirmed Tuesday evening.

“And in court papers, Dr. Mynett argued that her husband’s decision quote ‘put his son in harm’s way by taking him out in public with Rep. Omar, who at that time had garnered a plethora of media attention along with death threats, one rising to the level of arresting the would be known assassin that same week.'”

Fact-check: TRUE.

Back in April, around the time that Tim admitted his affair to Dr. Mynett, a New York man, Patrick W. Carlineo Jr., was arrested for threatening to kill the Muslim congresswoman.

Allegations have also surfaced that Omar may have used campaign funds to advance her affair.

“Apparently, Omar paid [Tim] and his consulting group about $230,000 through her campaign for things like fundraising, digital communications and travel expenses. … A conservative government ethics watchdog is looking into whether Omar used campaign funds to pursue the affair,” Gallagher said.

The conservative government ethics watchdog mentioned by Gallagher is in fact the National Legal and Policy Center.

“We believe Representative Ilhan Omar may have touched the third rail of campaign finance law: disbursing campaign funds for personal use,” a member of the watchdog told The Daily Caller. “It’s a brazen act Representative Omar was caught doing before in Minnesota and all of the evidence we’ve seen tells us she’s probably doing it again.”

Fact-check: TRUE.

Earlier this summer the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board ordered the Muslim congresswoman to reimburse her own campaign $3,469.23 and pay a fine of $500 for the crime of misusing campaign funds.

“That includes a payment of $1,500 to a law firm that, her lawyer testified, was related to some corrections made to her personal tax returns that were discovered as part of an inquiry into her financial records by a ‘crisis committee,'” the Star-Tribune reported at the time.

“The balance of the reimbursement is for a handful of travel expenses: to a political rally for a Boston City Council candidate; a leadership conference for girls in Washington, D.C.; a young elected officials’ conference in New York; a human rights luncheon in Chicago; and to a fundraiser for the African Network of Southwest Florida.”

What perhaps may be the most remarkable part of this story is that Omar has suggested that she’s still happily married, despite oodles of evidence showing otherwise.

“No, I am not,” she said bluntly when asked during an interview with Minnesota station WCCO on Tuesday whether she’s separated from her husband or dating anybody. “As I said yesterday, I have no interest in allowing the conversation about my personal life to continue and so I have no desire to discuss it.”

She also appeared unwilling to discuss allegations that she’d previously married her own brother to commit immigration fraud.

“I know who I am, the people I love know who I am and what I care about. And I have three beautiful children and a family to care for,” she said.

Listen:

It’s not clear how prancing around town with a married man and reportedly holding his hands in public fits with her taking care of her family.
