President Trump ripped an “obviously biased” NBC reporter while taking questions outside of the White House on Wednesday.
The president didn’t even bother to answer the question posed by NBC White House reporter Peter Alexander on Wednesday, instead using the grandstanding as an opportunity to call out the media.

On his way from the White House to an event in Kentucky, Trump took a moment to answer questions from the press on issues like trade with China and background checks on firearms.
When called on, Alexander chose to veer off to the all-important topic of a weeks-old slip of the tongue by the president, setting up his remark as a criticism of Trump for mocking former Vice President Joe Biden.
“You said that the mass shooting happened in Toledo, when it happened in Dayton,” the co-anchor of NBC’s “Today” on Saturdays said, referring to Trump’s speech in the wake of two mass shootings earlier this month.
The president made the slip near the end of his address to the nation from the White House, referring to Toledo, Ohio instead of Dayton, Ohio as the location of one of that weekend’s mass shootings where 10 people died and dozens were injured.
“May God bless the memory of those who perished in Toledo, may God protect them. May God protect all of those from Texas to Ohio. May God bless the victims and their families,” Trump said.
Biden had also slipped in comments following the shootings, referring to “tragic events” in Houston and Michigan before he corrected himself.
Alexander’s showboating exercise, as he confronted Trump for mocking Biden when he, himself, also made an error, earned him a swift and biting retort from the president.
“This guy is the most biased reporter, NBC,” Trump said.
“I made a lot of money for NBC with the ‘The Apprentice’ and I used to like them, but they are the most biased. Peter, you should be able to ask a question, same question, in a better way. You are so obviously biased and that’s why the public has no confidence in the media,” he added.
The moment must have reminded the president how much he dislikes the mainstream media as he turned his attention to the New York Times.
“I think the New York Times now has totally lost credibility,” he said. “They’ve given up on the Russian collusion delusion. And now what they’re doing, they’re trying the racist deal. And that’s not gonna work because I am the least racist person ever to serve in office. OK? I am the least racist person. But the New York Times is trying everything they can. It is a totally dishonest newspaper. It’s a paper that really has lost tremendous credibility.”
He went on to predict that the newspaper will go out of business in “six years, or maybe 10, or maybe 14,” echoing remarks he tweeted earlier this week.
The New York Times will be out of business soon after I leave office, hopefully in 6 years. They have Zero credibility and are losing a fortune, even now, especially after their massive unfunded liability. I’m fairly certain they’ll endorse me just to keep it all going!

But Trump was far from finished with NBC News, delivering his most brutal insult while somehow giving CNN a backhanded compliment in the process.
“You know who else goes out? NBC News,” he said.
“NBC News has less credibility, in my opinion, with guys like you, than CNN. I think CNN has more credibility than NBC News,” Trump declared.
“Did you hear what I said? I said you have more credibility than this guy. And that’s not saying much. You know why? ‘Cause I don’t think you have very much credibility. But I will tell you this, NBC, I think, has less credibility than CNN,” the president concluded. “That’s not saying much, but that’s the way I feel.”
