Footage released of Antifa terrorist attack on ICE facility

On the eve of Saturday’s anticipated confrontation in Portland Oregon, between far-left and hard-right groups, video footage has been released of the violent incident in July which resulted in the death of a 69-year-old Antifa terrorist in Tacoma, Washington. On July 13, armed Antifa thug Willem Van Spronsen was killed by law enforcement after he attacked the Tacoma ICE Detention facility with incendiary devices.

Explosions and flames can be seen in the video recorded by the GEO Group, the operations management company for the ICE facility, and approved for release by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Multiple gunshots can be heard on the video.

After the attack, Antifa anarchists celebrated Van Spronsen as a martyr and hero for the cause …

False accusations and grandstanding attacks by leftist politicians against ICE and its employees have resulted in extremely dangerous environs surrounding those facilities. In last month’s attack that occurred at 4 a.m., police were ready and reacted quickly to the threat, saving countless lives at a facility that houses well over 1000 people.

“We are extremely grateful to the officers of the Tacoma Police Department who reacted quickly to the incident that occurred outside the Northwest Detention Center this morning. This incident could have resulted in the loss of many more lives, were it not for the brave actions of all the officers involved,” Michael Melendez, acting field office director for Seattle Enforcement and Removal Operations at ICE, said at the time.

“Baseless accusations” about the facility “have led to misplaced aggression and a dangerous environment for our employees, whose safety is our top priority,” the GEO Group told the Associated Press. “Violence of any kind against our employees and property will not be tolerated. We are thankful for the quick and brave action by the Tacoma Police Department, which prevented innocent lives from being endangered.” The company pointed out that the Tacoma detention center has air conditioning and other modern amenities, recreational activities, a bed for every detainee and medical care available at all hours.

Patriot Prayer leader Joey Gibson turned himself in to authorities on Friday in connection with an arrest warrant issued for rioting, relating to a May 1 protest in Portland. He was subsequently released.

Gibson is not connected with the events organized for August 17, but he said that authorities are trying to intimidate conservatives who plan to protest. “They want you to not show up in Portland, they want to put fear in your hearts,” he said.

“Force them to arrest you for being peaceful,” he said, asking protesters to avoid engaging in violence.

Two-dozen law enforcement agencies from local, state, and federal governments are reported to be involved in keeping order during the demonstrations today.

Conservative reporter Andy Ngo, who was seriously injured in June when he was attacked by Antifa demonstrators in Portland, told Fox News that he believes Saturday “has the potential to be a powder keg.”
