Army veteran and popular conservative commentator Joe Biggs has “had enough of these masked commie bastards attacking civilians,” so he is working with a number of groups to host an anti-Antifa demonstration in Portland, Oregon, August 17 called the “End Domestic Terrorism Rally.”

Portland has become known as perhaps the biggest Antifa anthill in existence, with a city government led by extreme-left Mayor Ted Wheeler that protects the teeming swarms of anonymous thugs in black garb.

Antifa regularly conducts violent gatherings in the city, the most recent involving the brutal attack on conservative journalist Andy Ngo, that nearly cost him his life.

Proud Boys, a far-right men’s organization, is also hosting “End Domestic Terrorism,” said Biggs, who expects members of Oathkeepers, Three Percenters, American Guard, and other veterans groups to attend to help keep the peace. The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Waterfront in Portland.

“We the people have had enough of these masked commie bastards running around attacking civilians unchecked,” Biggs told the Gateway Pundit. “We have mayors sitting back and police allowing Antifa to bring weapons to rallies while the rest of us are searched and any form of defense removed. We have elected officials tweeting support for this domestic terrorist organization. It’s sickening and it needs to stop.

“We are a nation of laws,” he continued. “We are also America and America will never be a communist country. Antifa has members in big tech, including social media. They use that to de-platform us and for many of us it’s a way of life. It’s time we take a stand and look this filth in the eyes and let them know this is America and we won’t back down to them ever.”

The stated goal of the rally is to demand that Antifa and the John Brown Gun Club, an armed leftist group, be declared domestic terrorist organizations. The John Brown Gun Club’s profile was raised earlier this month when one of its members, Willem Van Spronsen hurled Molotov cocktails at an ICE detention facility in Tacoma Washington. The rifle-toting terrorist, also reportedly a member of Antifa, was then shot and killed by responding police officers.

Organizers of the August rally point out in a news release that Trump supporters are constantly demonized by the mainstream media, which is leading to violent attacks by emboldened far-leftists. They stated that Antifa has become a “growing menace” since the day President Donald Trump was inaugurated when a riot in Washington, D.C., resulted in windows being smashed in local businesses, cars set on fire, and multiple people assaulted for their conservative political views.

“As terroristic as that might sound … these groups have gotten worse … way worse,” the press release states. “In the past year, we have seen these groups throw Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), Molotov cocktails, chemical agents, urine and feces in glass containers, fireworks, and many other things, with the intent to maim and kill. They chant Allahu Akbar and call for the end of America openly in the streets.

“This month this situation has escalated to a level that we have never seen before in American history,” the news release continued. “Openly threatening to blind Americans with muriatic acid, hospitalizing journalist Andy Ngo for doing his job, attacking two men with crowbars on the streets and fracturing their skulls. One of these terrorists just last week attempted to firebomb an ICE facility because people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have demonized ICE agents for simply doing their jobs.”

“There’s going to be a lot of people,” Biggs predicted. “There’s a lot of anger, and my job is going to be to make sure cooler heads prevail and we do the right thing.”

He is expecting “at least 1,000” people to attend the rally but he is urging anyone planning to come not to pay for food, hotels, or other accommodation within the city of Portland, as Mayor Wheeler has continually failed to condemn Antifa or work to limit the leftist violence in his city.
