Donald Trump was not happy with Don Lemon’s controversial question about the president’s supposed bigotry at Tuesday night’s debate.
“CNN’s Don Lemon, the dumbest man on television, insinuated last night while asking a debate ‘question’ that I was a racist, when in fact I am ‘the least racist person in the world,'” the president tweeted on Wednesday.
He continued, “Perhaps someone should explain to Don that he is supposed to be neutral, unbiased & fair, or is he too dumb (stupid) to understand that. No wonder CNN’s ratings (MSNBC’s also) have gone down the tubes — and will stay there until they bring credibility back to the newsroom. Don’t hold your breath!”

At Tuesday’s CNN Democrat debate, Lemon asked Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), “What do you say to those Trump voters who prioritize the economy over the president’s bigotry?”
Another question given to Beto O’Rourke also touched on the president’s supposed bigotry. Lemon asked O’Rourke about Trump’s reelection strategy being “based in part on racial division.”
Calling Lemon the “dumbest man on television” is nothing new for the president.
“Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!” the president tweeted in August of last year after Lemon interviewed James, another vocal critic of Trump.

In a tweet from 2017, the president said, “Another false story, this time in the Failing @nytimes, that I watch 4-8 hours of television a day — Wrong! Also, I seldom, if ever, watch CNN or MSNBC, both of which I consider Fake News. I never watch Don Lemon, who I once called the ‘dumbest man on television!’ Bad Reporting.”

While leftists are already calling the president racist for attacking Lemon — apparently, he can never criticize people of color without being bigoted — others have also criticized Lemon for both his bizarre debate question and his past extreme rhetoric.

The worst reaction so far from the left to Trump’s tweet has come from CNN’s Brian Stelter who is somehow claiming that the president’s Lemon tweet is making journalists “less safe.”

Right, Stelter. Journalists are less safe right now because President Trump pointed out something plenty of others had already complained about.
Stelter is just another agenda-driven leftist beating the war drum for CNN. If there is a threat against journalists, it’s from leftist groups like Antifa, a group that has literally put conservative journalists in the hospital.
These debates are being ruined by agenda-driven leftists like Lemon and that’s something the president clearly recognizes. Despite what Stelter and others may say, there’s nothing more to Trump’s new Lemon tweets than that.
