Joy Behar: Racism doesn’t end ‘until black people are running everything’

It’s a scary concept to think that some Americans form their political opinions on the likes of alleged comedian Joy Behar, who declared on Tuesday that racism will not end “until black people are running everything.”

On Monday, the co-hosts of the “The View,” who are often quick to call others racist, took exception to President Trump calling Rep. Elijah Cummings, (D-Md.,) a racist for neglecting his constituents, who are largely black.

According to the brilliance of Behar, a black person cannot be a racist — Cummings is an African American. On Tuesday, Behar doubled down on the persistent liberal myth while furthering the victim mentality that holds so many disadvantaged people back.

This all being part of the left doggedly running interference for Cummings as Trump questions where billions of dollars funneled into the Democrat’s district are going — nearly $16 billion in 2018 alone.

“When I talk about racism, I talk about a system of racism in this country that affects housing, that affects politics, that affects education,” Behar explained. “It’s a system of racism. And if you are a minority in this country, you are more a victim of racism, so it’s hard to be a racist when you are a victim of racism.”

“They don’t understand the difference between racism and bigotry. Black people can be bigoted like anybody else, but when you’re talking about racism in this country, until black people are running everything…” she said, leaving the sentence open.

“We came close!” co-host Whoopi Goldberg chimed in.

Am apparent reference to when Barack Obama was president and Eric Holder held down the fort at the Department of Justice, which counters the left’s argument that America is a racist nation.

“One shining moment, that was Camelot!” Behar exclaimed, eager to appear woke as she surrenders to her white guilt.

After an exchange on the definition of racism, Behar deceptively read what proved to be the definition of “institutional racism” — a key component of the left’s critical race theory, which says all white people are inherently racist.

Reading straight from Wikipedia, Behar said, “It’s a form of racism expressed in the practice of social and political institutions reflected in disparities regarding wealth, income, criminal justice, employment, housing, health care, political power, and education among other factors.”

Now, compare that to Merriam-Webster’s definition of racism:

“[A] belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.”

The tweet from the president that got their knickers all bunched up is seen below, coming after Cummings tweeted he wakes up each morning and goes “to fight for my neighbors,” calling this “my moral duty” — if true, the Democrat’s losing the fight, as Baltimore ranks in the top 10 of the least livable cities in America.

“If racist Elijah Cummings would focus more of his energy on helping the good people of his district, and Baltimore itself, perhaps progress could be made in fixing the mess that he has helped to create over many years of incompetent leadership. His radical “oversight” is a joke!” the president tweeted.

Behar was upset over the criticism she received for the assertion made on Monday’s show while discussing Trump calling  Cummings’ district a “rat and rodent-infested mess.”

Whoopi took exception to Trump calling Cummings a racist, insisting that he doesn’t know what the word means.

Behar chimed in to say that calling the black congressman a racist “makes no sense.”

“I’m just trying to make it clear to the audience who you are talking about,” she said, after Whoopi protested that she was just saying that.

“Because Elijah is the black man,” Behar continued. “He’s calling the black man the racist. I mean, I don’t think people understand that particularly. It’s outrageous and stupid to call a black person a racist.”

That Behar is comfortable enough to address the Democratic congressman on a first name basis says all that needs to be said about the spirited defense seen from her.
