Two employees who witnessed the heated argument between Georgia Democratic lawmaker Erica Thomas and Cuban-American Democrat Eric Sparkes at a Publix supermarket dispute her claims that Sparkes had yelled “Go back where you came from!”
A Publix customer service manager told police that it was Thomas who “continuously [told] Eric Sparkes to ‘Go back where you came from!’” The manager says she never heard Sparkes say that to Thomas.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the employee told police that Sparkes repeatedly tried to leave, but Thomas kept getting in his face and yelling at him.
“Mr. Sparkes began to leave, but Ms. Thomas kept ‘running her mouth’ as she approached him,” the employee told police.

Another Publix employee named Derrick Tompkins also told police that he never heard Sparkes tell Thomas to “go back where she came from.” However, Tompkins said he heard Sparkes call Thomas an expletive.
Sparkes admitted from the beginning that he had called Thomas a “selfish little b**ch” for getting in a 10-item express lane with 20 items.
“I did say that. That’s all I said, and I walked out of Publix,” Sparkes told a local news station. “Her words stating on Twitter and her video stating I told her she needs to ‘go back where she came from’ are untrue.”
These witness testimonies contradict the rants of Erica Thomas, who sobbed in an online video while whining that a “white man” had told her to “go back where you came from” during a racist tirade.
The media immediately hyped the incident as an example of a white Trump supporter being “racist.”
However, Democrats and the left-wing media discredited themselves once again after it turned out that the accused is a Cuban-American Democrat who hates President Trump and has repeatedly trashed him on Facebook.
Thomas is now being hilariously mocked as the female version of crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett after witnesses insist that Thomas was the aggressor in the incident.

Both Thomas and Sparkes have asked the Publix supermarket in Cobb County, Georgia to release store security video to prove their disputing claims.
Thomas initially claimed that she feared for her safety because Sparkes ran up to her “with clenched hands in such a manner that he made me fearful for the safety of myself and my daughter.”
However, a police deputy who saw the security video (which did not have audio) indicated in his report that Sparkes “did not appear to be irate, nor did I see him with clenched hands” in security camera footage he viewed.
In fact, the police report says that Sparkes repeatedly moved away when Thomas — who’s twice as big as he is — got into his face while yelling at him.

Amazingly, Erica Thomas has hired a lawyer to represent her in this nonviolent supermarket scuffle — which probably happens every day in stores around the country.
Thomas is now being accused of being a “Jussie Smollett copycat” who’s trying to cast herself as the victim of a fake hate crime in order to raise her public profile.
As BizPac Review reported, black conservatives slammed Smollett as “an utter perversion of justice who destroyed the myth of white privilege.”
Imagine if a white male actor faked a hate crime against himself by pretending black men attacked him in the middle of the night— then was subsequently acquitted of all charges. #JussieSmollett is an utter perversion of justice who just DESTROYED the myth of white privilege.
