Sanders ‘Medicare for All’ bill is different this time, it includes health care for illegal immigrants. Dem candidates all in.

Socialist presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has unveiled a crazy new “Medicare for All” plan that will extend health care to anyone who can slip through the borders … citizenship not required.

Estimates for the cost of the extravagant and unrealistic campaign promise reaches a total of no less than $32 trillion over ten years.

In the current Democrat presidential primary free-for-all of 20 major candidates, many fellow lefty hopefuls are already signed on to the giveaway, not wanting to be left behind. At last report those socialist democrats include four other U.S. Senators … Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Kamala Harris of California, Cory Booker of New Jersey, and Elizabeth Warren, of Massachusetts.

The move to give health care to illegal aliens within US borders represents a huge additional cost to taxpayers beyond what was already an irresponsible “Affordable Care Act” idea … at least for those of us who know that money does not grow on trees.

Sen. Sanders of Vermont introduced his new bill in the Senate this week. A corresponding bill was introduced in the House by Democrat Representatives Pramila Jayapal of Washington and Debbie Dingell of Michigan.

The Affordable Care Act had limited benefits to citizens, nationals, and “lawfully present” immigrants. The new bills define coverage as being extended to all U.S. “residents.”

The House bill also prohibits the government from denying benefits because of “citizenship status.”

Sanders said that his bill “guarantees, like every other major country on Earth, health care to every man, woman, and child in this country … My plan would cover every U.S. resident.”

The program would transfer, over four years, all private insurance plans to a government-run single-payer plan. Things such as premiums, co-pays, and deductibles would be completely eliminated.

Yippee … free stuff, right?

Funny how these bills promising to throw open the vault doors occur every four years … and they have to be bigger and better than the last ones. Sanders’ bill is similar to the measure he proposed during his previous run for president in 2016. But his new bill is more generous, including funding for long-term healthcare for the elderly and terminally ill.

Health care is just part of the socialist revolution. Last month Sen. Gillibrand said she supports expanding Social Security benefits to illegals. “If you are in this country now you must have the right to pay into Social Security, to pay your taxes, to pay into the local school system and to have a pathway to citizenship. That must happen,” she said on a campaign stop in Iowa.

Of course most of the Dem candidates are also on record as being all for tuition-free college, and leading Democrats are pushing the narrative that wealthy Americans should be taxed at rates up to 90%.

Sanders recently challenged conservatives to explain why his Medicare for All plan should not replace the current system.

None other than Republican Representative Dan Crenshaw of Texas stepped up to the challenge when he tweeted …
