CNN’s Brian Stelter — a leftist political activist masquerading as a “journalist” — was dragged on Twitter for defending Jussie Smollett despite the mountain of damning evidence proving he’s guilty of staging a fake hate crime.
As BizPac Review reported, Eddie Johnson — the superintendent of the Chicago Police Department — was furious that prosecutor Kim Foxx dropped all 16 felony charges against Smollett. Shockingly, Foxx made the decision without consulting the Chicago Police.
At a press conference yesterday, Superintendent Johnson said the evidence is overwhelming that Smollett staged a fake crime.

CNN contributor Steve Cortes — a Trump supporter — slammed Brian Stelter on Twitter, saying his refusal to admit Smollett’s guilt is a rebuke of the Chicago police.

Stelter: ‘We May Never Know What Happened That Night’
Cortez was responding to a tweet Stelter had sent, where he doubled-down on statements he made on-air, when he said the following:
“The narrative [for Jussie Smollett] has once again changed — from victim to villain, back to victim. It’s been very confusing…as people don’t know what to believe.
We may never really know what happened on the street that night in Chicago. But for his fans, for his friends, this is a triumphant moment that he can get back to what he wants to do, which is work.”
Tater Got Hilariously Ratio’d on Twitter
Tater’s tweet will probably go down in Twitter history for being mercilessly ratio’d. It got barraged with replies mocking Stelter’s pathological refusal to accept the reality that Smollett committed a felony and lied about it.
Stelter Refused to Give Brett Kavanaugh Benefit of Doubt
While Brian Stelter is bending over backwards to give Smollett the benefit of the doubt, he refused to do the same to Brett Kavanaugh in September, when the judge was accused of a hoax “gang rape.”
At the time, the Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway torched Stelter when he defended the media’s reckless coverage of uncorroborated, 11th hour accusations against Brett Kavanaugh in an attempt to derail his Supreme Court nomination.
CNN’s Shameful Track Record of Pushing Fake News
Fast-forward to the present, when CNN’s dismal track record for accuracy is embarrassing.
During the past few months alone, CNN has been wrong about a number of major news stories, including:
- Covington Catholic High School.
- Brett Kavanaugh “gang rape” hoax.
- Jussie Smollett.
- Russia collusion hoax.
And now, CNN is being sued for $250 million for defaming teen Nick Sandmann, whom the network maligned in their rush to smear Trump supporters. Great job, CNN! And it’s only March.
