Sen. Kamala Harris proposes to deal with global warming not by working on alleged problems but by changing “human behavior.”
The California Democrat and 2020 presidential candidate offered an alarming prescription for climate change, suggesting a totalitarian fix to “save the future generations of our country and this world.”
Harris seemed to reveal the progressive agenda Democrats don’t usually tout so openly, speaking to a crowd while campaigning in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
“It is a fact that we can change human behaviors without much change to our lifestyle and we can save the future generations of our country and this world,” Harris said.
“But there has been a failure to do that because this administration and the people who are part of it are in the pockets of big oil and are denying what we know is a reality around greenhouse gas emissions and what we need to do to curb those, what we need to do to focus on the fact that water is a precious resource,” she continued.
“And we can be smarter about a policy that also is about creating jobs to invest in renewable energy, some good work is happening in this state,” she said, as someone in the crowd shouted “Solar!”
“Solar, wind turbine, all of that. We need a new president,” the Democrat replied.
The left continues to push the impending doom of humanity as a result of global climate change, and with 2020 campaigns ramping up, the alarmists will be focusing on the catastrophic predictions with agendas proposing cures such as the Green New Deal, higher taxes and more government overreach.
Harris’s words had many on Twitter wondering just how close she will get to becoming the 2020 Democratic nominee.
I get real nervous when any politician starts talking about using the power of the State to change human behavior. It almost never ends well for anyone.

When she says “our” lifestyles, she means “her” lifestyle wouldn’t change much because politicians rely on the sacrifice of others but rarely make the same sacrifices

We can “change human behaviors”. Translation: do what we tell you! We are the progressives and we know better #Mao #Stalin #Maduro https://t.co/OI2FMnDguL

Again, she is a walking catastrophe on the spot. She marks all the nominee boxes on paper but she is not going to be the nominee like this. https://t.co/ZSahO9fWQI

Imagine @KamalaHarris giving the same speech in:
• Green Bay, Wisconsin
• Dearborn, Michigan
• Lorain, Ohio
• Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
• Wheeling, West VirginiaThis SJW nonsense is why Kamala Harris is going to receive an Electoral College Thrashing.

Yeah, that’s the ticket ! Changing human behaviour worked so well on the kulaks that Stalin had to only kill ten million to accomplish it. #SocialismKills

unfortunately she’s correctly let the cat out of the bag. It’s been an objective of LEFTISTS for decades, and their voting base sort of provides the evidence.
