Democrat lawmakers are rabidly pushing legislation that would allow 16-year-olds to vote in federal elections.
Coincidentally, this amendment is being aggressively pushed just as we approach the 2020 presidential elections.
Mass-Importing Illegals Isn’t Enough for Dems
On March 6, freshman Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley introduced legislation to lower the federal voting age from 18 to 16. In a statement, the newbie lawmaker said:
“Across this nation, young people are leading the way — from gun violence, to climate change, to the future of work — they are organizing, mobilizing, and calling us to action.
Our young people are at the forefront of some of the most existential crises facing our communities and our society at large. The time has come. Our young people deserve to have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote.”
Fellow freshman Rashida Tlaib — who’s being investigated for campaign fraud — gleefully expressed her support, joining far-left Democrat Grace Meng.

Teenager: ‘Teens Don’t Know Much’
Meanwhile, some teens don’t think they have enough life experience or know enough to make informed voting decisions.
“Teenagers think they know everything, but they don’t know much,” Conor, 19, told ABC News’ Boston affiliate.
‘Stupidity!’
Many on Twitter agreed with young Conor. One person tweeted: “If you can’t [legally] consent to sex until you’re 18, you sure as heck shouldn’t vote.”

In July 2018, the left-wing city of San Francisco became the first city in California to allow illegal immigrants to vote in local elections.
It’s only a matter of time before California liberals extend that to federal elections.
