Rep. Dan Crenshaw took the left to school with a hard lesson exposing the truth behind the Democrat tax policy in under two minutes.
The Texas Republican posted a video on Twitter Tuesday featuring his truth-bomb about the “difference in philosophy” on tax rates, calling out the Democrats whose goal is to levy more taxes on Americans along with their “benevolent” bureaucrat friends.
Why does the left hate the tax cuts? Bc they think the people exist to fund the govt. We believe the govt exists to protect the inalienable rights of the people.

“What we’re here talking about a difference in philosophy, not just tax rates,” Crenshaw said. “It’s a question of whether the government should be taking more of your money or whether you should be able to keep more of your money.”
The 34-year-old former Navy Seal, who lost his right eye in an IED explosion while serving in Afghanistan, shed light on the different views Republicans and Democrats have on the “role of government and what we believe” when it comes to taxing Americans.
“It seems to me that you all believe that the role of government is to tax the people as much as possible so that you and your benevolent academics can dream up more programs for the government to spend money on,” Crenshaw said.
“I don’t believe that. I don’t believe that’s what the role of government is for,” he declared, before launching into the day’s civics lesson for progressives.
“The role of government is to protect the God-given rights that we have and the ensure that we live as free as possible. The role of government is to tax people to the least extent that is possible while still taxing them enough to cover basic needs for government,” he explained, pointing anyone with questions about those basic needs to the U.S. Constitution.
The Texas lawmaker, seen by many conservatives as a rising star in the GOP, offered several examples from his own home state to back claims that tax cuts benefit the economy as well as businesses and more importantly, average Americans.
The veteran has been an outspoken critic of the left’s unrealistic policies, getting into social media battles with progressive darling Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her proposed 70 percent marginal tax rate.
Twitter users applauded Crenshaw’s tax lesson Tuesday, but it’s probably a safe bet Democrats were not even taking notes.
Well done sir. Confound them with the facts.

We need more military men and women in our congress. When you are willing to die to protect the freedoms of our country we can trust that you will govern for what is good and right for our country!! #termlimits

It is quite simple – government should always be practiced to the least extent possible, thereby preserving the maximum amount of individual liberty for those people to whom it governs.
