AOC, Rashida and Omar yuk it up about calling US president a ‘Mother F…r’ in joint interview. A ‘boo-boo word’ that we call any guy.

Congress’s three most controversial members — socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, antisemite Rashida Tlaib and antisemite/terrorist supporter Ilhan Omar — tried during a joint interview this week to downplay Tlaib’s recent use of the profane term “motherf–ker” to describe the president.

Speaking together on “Desus & Mero,” an urban late-night talk show on Showtime, the trio described the term as a “boo-boo word” and complained about the alleged “double standard.”

“Rashida got into a little trouble for saying a boo-boo word,” AOC recalled. “I hit up Rashida, I sent her a text and was like, ‘Don’t worry about it. Like, who cares?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah, I’m from Detroit. Back there that’s what we call a guy.'”

Tlaib concurred, saying, “Honestly. That’s [like] saying ‘that guy.'”

Omar then jumped in to complain about the alleged “double standard.”

“The double standard in that is that ‘that guy’ never gets in trouble for all of the ‘boo boo’ words he says,” she said, referencing President Donald Trump.

Listen to the discussion below:

Hours after Tlaib, the first Palestinian-American woman to serve in Congress, was sworn into office last month with Thomas Jefferson’s Quran — and while adorned in a Palestinian gown — she told a crowd of supporters that she was going to “impeach the motherf–ker.”

“People love you and you win. And when your son looks at you and says, ‘Momma, look you won. Bullies don’t win.’ And I said, ‘Baby, they don’t, because we’re gonna go in there and we’re gonna impeach the motherf–ker,” she proudly declared to her supporters at a bar in Washington, D.C.

To be clear, Tlaib received virtually no blowback from either her Democrat peers or the left-wing media for her use of such a derogatory term to describe the president.

In fact, a columnist The Washington Post defended her. “What’s so wrong with motherf—er?” reads an actual headline from the virulently left-wing publisher.

The president felt quite differently.

“I thought her comments were disgraceful,” he said at a Rose Garden press conference held the following day. “I think she dishonored herself, and I think she dishonored her family using language like that in front of her son and whoever else was there. I thought it was highly disrespectful to the United States of America.”

What Trump said about Tlaib’s son was the key. Recall that, while speaking to her supporters, she’d been describing what she’d said earlier to her son. While it’s unclear whether she actually did say that to her son, just the idea that she’d say something so foul is what’s so disturbing.

So to recap, it’s not necessarily her use of profanity that’s an issue. While using profanity isn’t recommended for anyone in government, it’s true the president himself sometimes uses curse words, as has been noted over and over again by everybody in the mainstream media.

Case in point:

Good luck finding similar in-depth pieces about Tlaib’s “foul mouth.”

What the president has never done is use profanity with his children, let alone boast to others about having used profanity with his kids.

So yes, Omar was correct to highlight the “double standard.” It’s just that the double standard runs in reverse, as noted by many on social media:

The Twitter users above made some valid points: Trump-supporting musician  Kid Rock was practically crucified after he jokingly described “The View” co-host as a “bi–h” a couple months back. And it’s true that Tlaib once penned a post for notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan’s blog.

Not surprisingly, the congresswoman’s blog post received limited attention from the demonstrably left-wing mainstream media.

Double standard indeed!
