Singer Joy Villa turned heads at the 2019 Grammy Awards, when she sashayed down the red carpet in a traffic-stopping “Build the Wall” dress ― topped off with a red Make America Great Again purse and barb-wire shoulder accents.

“To no surprise, I’m still a Trump supporter. I support the president and what he’s doing,” Villa told Fox News.

“This is my Make America Great Again purse and dress is by Desi Designs Couture. It represents the wall.

Obama wanted to build a wall. Clinton wanted to build a wall. It’s nothing new. But I believe [Trump is] the one that’s going to get it done.”

‘I’m Latina and Black’ and I Support the Wall

Villa says her “Build the Wall” dress is much more than just a fashion statement. Joy wore it to spotlight the plight of women and children who are raped and sold as sex slaves after being smuggled illegally into the United States by human traffickers.

This is all made possible because there is no border wall to stop the human trafficking.

One in three women who are trying to come to this country illegally are sexually assaulted. Thousands of children are sexually exploited by coyotes bringing them across the border. Seventy percent of the heroin in our nation is brought in through Mexico.

This is not personal against this country or the people. It’s not about race. It’s about protecting the people who are in this country. I’m Latina, I’m black. I support what the president says about building the wall, so that’s what this dress represents.”

As BizPac Review reported, Joy Villa shot to fame when she attended the 2017 Grammy Awards in a bold “Make America Great Again” gown. The dress Villa wore in 2017 was designed by Andre Soriano, a Filipino immigrant who is also a supporter of President Donald Trump.

“It’s just so crazy that people are getting beat up because they voted for Trump,” Soriano said in 2017. “I am an American, I moved here from the Philippines, and I highly believed in the trueness of what this country can bring.”

At this year’s Grammys, Villa was joined by fellow Trump supporter Rick Rebel, who showed off his reversible Keep America Great jacket:
