Previously deported sexually violent child molester keeps coming back to US, sentenced to 401 years

An illegal immigrant who had previously been deported was just handed an astounding sentence in California for committing sexually violent crimes.

The previously deported sexual predator was sentenced last week to 401 years after a jury in December found him “guilty of three counts of forcible rape, one count of kidnapping to commit rape, one count of criminal threats, and seven counts of lewd acts upon a child under the age of fourteen,” according to a press release by Tulare County District Attorney Tim Ward.

And the youngest victim of Macario Cerda begged prosecutors to never allow the 39-year-old to be deported fearing he would just return illegally again as he had done before.

According to court documents, Cerda had been deported and came back in 2013 illegally, dating the victims’ mother. Records revealed he forced one of the mother’s daughter’s into his car and drove to a “remote location” where he raped her and threatened her family. In a moment when Cerda stepped out of the car, the victim escaped by jumping into the driver’s seat and driving off.

According to the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office, Cerda was previously convicted for felony domestic violence and criminal threats against the victims’ mother, Fox News reported.

After his arrest by Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies, an investigation revealed that Cerda had also raped the victim in 2010, when she was a minor. This had resulted in the young girl becoming pregnant and giving birth to a baby. The victim’s youngest sister said she had also been raped and abused by the man and said he had held a knife to her sister’s throat.

During victim impact statements at the sentencing, she told the judge she forgave Cerda for what he did.

“Her capacity to find forgiveness for a man who so terrorized a family is nothing short of remarkable,” District Attorney Tim Ward said in a statement.

But she also had a word of caution for the judge.

“Never grant him any possibility at being deported,” she said, “because he has crawled his way back into the States illegally way too many times.”

“This family will never have to live in fear of Cerda returning to terrorize them again. He will be serving his remaining days in a California prison,” Ward said. “Criminals can, and will, find their way back to hurt the vulnerable. The courage of these women to stand up and rally back against this heartless predator is what gives all of us strength to battle for justice. This time, he is not coming back.”

Sadly, Cerda’s despicable crimes are another example of the left’s open borders agenda as Democrats refuse to cooperate with President Trump on border security, a border wall and immigration reforms.
